    Decent price, not gen4 but is TLC NAND and has DRAM-cache.
    For general use/apps/gaming real world performance will be like that of a 980 Pro or P5 Plus.
    If you don't really need gen4 sequential speeds it's not a bad option. (edited)

    What about the thermals? I heard the newer hardware (Elpis) runs much hotter than the initial 970 EVO from 2018. Like 50 vs 70C
    I need SSD for a laptop and am not sure if I have chosen the right one.
