sorted byTried these again about 2 weeks ago and they now work perfectly. I dunno if it was a phone or headphone update but the connection is now solid and reliable.
Hope yours get fixed by an update too.
I always turn off touch controls when it's heavy rain and wearing a hat/hood though otherwise they tend to pick up 'touch' from wet clothing rubbing against them.
I have them paired up with my Pixel 5 and use my Samsung galaxy watch 4 to control volume and track skipping when the weather is a horror show (edited)
