I wasn't familiar with the G55 until now but having looked it up on Rtings it seems like Gigabyte's G34WQC is just a better monitor all round at about the same price: rtings.com/mon…55t. Heat for the good price as far as this one goes though.

Great info however remember the Samsing has a 1000 curvature and the Gigabyte has a 1500 curvature, how much of a curve are you after ;-)

I bought LG UltraWide Monitor 34WN750P 34 inch with IPS panel for £330, now it's cheaper on amazon for few days. Refresh rate is 75hz, so not for competitive online gaming but IPS panel great for every work and gaming is pleasurable with great colours.

The only issue I have with 75hz, is once you go for 144hz or above for more than a decade, anything less just looks chopper to me. IPS panel or not. But I agree, for working etc.
