Looking for a versatile pet vacuum cleaner that’s perfect for floors, furnishings, stairs and more? Look no further. Designed for homes with pets, this powerful upright vacuum cleaner glides between carpets and hard floors with Shark’s signature DuoClean two brush-roll design, now enhanced with Anti Hair Wrap Technology which actively removes hair from the bristle brush-roll as you clean. Not just for floors, comfortably clean stairs, under furniture and up high in portable mode thanks to Powered Lift-Away.

DuoClean Technology

Glide from carpets to hard floors without stopping. Two brush-rolls work together in one floorhead – a bristle brush cleans deep into carpet pile, while a soft front brush-roll actively draws in large debris, small particles and lifts fine dust from hard floors.

Anti Hair Wrap Technology

Shark’s unique bristle-guard and comb actively separate and remove hair from the bristle brush-roll as you clean, helping to leave it tangle-free.

Powered Lift-Away Technology

Instantly transforms into a portable vacuum cleaner with Powered Lift-Away. Simply lift the main unit away from the wand to easily clean underneath furniture – powered brush-rolls continue rotating to draw in dirt for a consistent clean. Detach the floorhead to comfortably clean up high and remove the wand to go handheld, easily cleaning stairs, sofas and furnishings with the included attachments.

Perfect for pet owners

This TruePet model includes Shark’s Anti Hair Wrap Pet Tool, purposefully designed to effortlessly remove embedded pet hair from sofas and soft furnishings.

Anti-Allergen Complete Seal

The Anti-Allergen Complete Seal captures and traps 99.9%* of dust and allergens inside the vacuum, not releasing them back into the air you breathe.

Easy to Use

Easily move around corners and furniture with swivel steering. Signature LED lights illuminate hidden dust underneath furniture.

Hiya is this better than dyson? I’m confused about either getting dyson or shark?

I've had two shark vaccums so far upright like this and would say yes they're better than dyson. The way they pick up dirt is amazing and more affordable.

Really need to buy new vacuum cleaner. Our 3 year old dyson v10 cordless not working anymore. Not happy with dyson at all. Anyone using shark for few years without issues?

I have this I paid £207.50 in 2021 from Amazon so this is a good deal.

We purchased this due to having 2 Maine coon cats who shed a lot of fur DAILY. This picks it up no problem, although I’ve stopped bothering with the pet power brush, not really sure how much benefit that brings unless you haven’t hoovered in a while.

Can’t compare with recent dysons as not used for years but it’s suction is amazing.

As with all hoovers though it needs maintenance so make sure it’s emptied regularly and the filters are WASHED AND DRIED on a regular basis. Had ours 2 years now and still as good as day one. (edited)

Me and my siblings bought this for our mum about two years ago now and there are a few things I can tell you.

The hoover overall is decent. The suction to begin with is fantastic however after a few months that seems to drop off. Not to the point of being useless but it very obviously doesn't turn into a magnet like it did the first few months. She still gets good suction with it however.

The material used for the cable isn't all that great. Shes had a few rips/tears in the cable which I've had to tape. It doesn't like being rubbed against corners. I've also found that the cable isn't really long enough. Don't know if it's standard size, I just know the one I have and her old one had/have longer cable.

The "Anti-hair" roll is useless. I'd make the point that it in face is very positively attracted to hair. If there are people with long hair then this hoover will suck them up and wrap them around the roller and jam it. Unfortunately light hair runs in the family so you can't see it. Eventually if you build up enough of it then you have to unblock it. Obviously the solution to this is to check it regularly which being honest is a hassle as it requires you taking it apart every time. I'd also say that this is probably bad if you have long haired animals such as dogs. I imagine this gets clogged even quicker.

About eight months into the hoovers life span it stopped sucking anything up. I checked it over, I did the obvious and then read on their website their troubleshooting steps. Non of these resolved it. So basically we had a broken hoover.

If memory serves me correctly before you call them up it instructs you on what you should have at hand for over the phone troubleshooting and warranty claims. I gave them a call and it turned into a video call. They had me follow their trouble shooting such as disconnecting everything and showing them via camera that non of the passages were blocked. I had to disconnect the handle tubing stuff you use for the stairs and tight gaps and lift it up full extended and not connected to anything, so you could see straight down it basically. They had me hold the camera over the top of it and drop a 2p coin down it. Down it went and hit the floor, which they could hear and I showed them it on the floor. The reason I'm saying this is just to show that my experience was pretty positive. I ran through the steps for around twenty minutes going through everything that could've been causing an issue. However unfortunately it wasn't to be with that one. As a result of this she told me that they'd sort out a replacement and post it to me. Three days later the replacement arrived and since then we've had no problems. So the currently life span of replacement is coming up on two years. I will say their troubleshooting steps were really informative and I actually learnt stuff about hoovers that I didn't otherwise know, so that'll be useful for the future.

Shark have excellent customer service as well and I think a very decent guarantee. Ours started playing up after 4 years, just didn't seem as powerful and they sent an entire new vacuum engine bit out next day.

I second this, we bought a refurbished one via ebay from a deal a few months back on-site, Brand new machine apart from the plug being broke, Within 48 hours they had replied back to my message and ordered a replacement base/plug part. (Funnily enough, we fixed the plug and kept the spare base as a spare).

Second their customer service, found them to be one of the best. They accidentally cancelled my order, the product went out of stock, so got a free upgrade to the latest model. Win!

Support is useless. Sent me a faulty one, still waiting for returns postage to send back. Was going for a replacement, but support is dire.
