I'm on the brink of leaving Spotify after many years as a premium subscriber. I'm on the duo plan but the price increase means it is now the same cost as other providers family plans but with worse quality. I can only really switch to Amazon Music due to needing Google Home, Garmin and Denon integration. It's a mess out there for compatibility across platforms.

You can buy a 12 month voucher from Amazon for £99 which makes it £8.25 month.

Yea become a habit now to have an increase atleast yearly.... Sure this kinda thing didn't happen years ago.... Now it seems fine to increase all these types of subscriptions, along with phone, broadband etc at above inflation rates....

Just get YouTube premium. You get YouTube music and no adverts on YouTube. Costs me £2.49 for a family plan. Sign up using a VPN from Turkey or Argentina

Anyone having issues with the payment method. Using an incognito browser so not logged into an old account and absolutely no payment method works? Tried Revolut and Starling?

Some cards don't work others do.

A credit card didn't work so I used another one from a UK bank I have and it required verifying in its app as an extra step.

I did it and it worked.
