Next-Gen AG racing is here!

Futuristic racing that pays homage to classic games such as F-Zero, WipeOut, Rollcage, and POD – strap yourself in for the fast, tough and satisfying driving experience of Redout. This Steam key adds a whole new driving experience to your gaming library.
Speed through gorgeous settings – from breezy coastlines and frozen landscapes to vast desert plains – and witness the sharp low-polygon style blended meshes and terrains with the latest state-of-the-art shading and lighting effects provided by the Unreal Engine 4.

FEEL THE RUSH

Fast and ferocious, Redout offers much more than just your standard competitive racer. Feel the vibrations as you glide around the tracks and collide with other vehicles in heated races and lose yourself in the dystopian atmosphere of a semi abandoned Earth.

CONTROL THE RACE

When you are racing at 800km/h, it’s important to take every opportunity you can to move up the grid or remain in pole position. Redout features physics derived from quad-copters controllers and real magnetic forces. With upgrades and powerups, players will have even more control over their ship's behavior.
Be sure to make the necessary upgrades before you hit the advanced tracks!

  • Online multiplayer racing for up to 12 players
  • Optional VR support
  • Over 100 events to race
  • A diverse world
  • Super-fast racing
  • Full 5.1 support and a dynamic soundtrack that will drop sicker and sicker beats the faster you go!

Redout 2 is included with one of the PS Plus tiers if anyone wants to try that there.

I love VR bust just don't have the stomach for it.
Worst experience was Star Wars squadrons. Amazing fun, but I had a migraine for 2 days.

Hopefully with the Quest 3's higher quality images it will be better.

Great sense of speed, well worth a squid!

Redout 2 is on offer in the Steam sale, no idea if cheaper at cd key sites, pretty good too with more complex speed options.

I hated Redout 2 at first as I preferred the original’s art style but I’ve dumped an unhealthy number of hours into it now the speed and handling in 2 is worlds ahead, as is the track design. They ditched the pointless weapon system from the 1st and focused on customisation. Only real negative is the insane number of races you have to do to unlock parts and teams.

For £1, this is a no-brainer. Give it a try, get Redout 2 in the next sale if this tickles your pickle.

I've played it a few times and everything seems to work. Had to play around with settings a bit too get a decent frame rate as it had everything set to max when I first loaded it up.

Enjoyed this on deck for a bit. If you've got oled the levels look incredible with their neon styling. Moon maps were pretty cool where you drive between light and dark. Felt pretty similar to wipeout or fzero x but not quite as good gameplay but with much better graphics
