And if you know anything about common sense, you'd know that re-sale value has no effect on the original retailer, since they are RE-sales. And the only reason yeezies have such a high resale value is because Adidas don't make that many in the first place. Just look at the re-sale price on any limited edition pair of Jordans or Air Force Ones. Don't even get me started on Stan Smith's. SS's are the shoes that girls wear to festivals because they're cheap and they don't care about them getting messed up. So they're selling point is that they're cheap, not that they look 'good' because they're drab as hell. Also when it comes to collaborations, Nike are in kahoots with pretty much the entire NBA, so don't go bringing up the adidas X Raf Simon's Ozweego III which is one of the worst looking shoe collabs I've ever seen. It's not like I have any brand loyalty to one or the other, so I can't see why I'd be biased when I've given you mostly facts, and the occasional honest opinion. I do like shoes from both, I was just saying I'd like to see something different from Adidas as of late, and I don't think popularity or hype should have a bearing on what I like.

Stan Smith are one of the most popular trainers around, worn by more than just girls at festivals. And at £70 RRP these days, I wouldn't say they where cheap either.

I buy at least one per a year (slightly varying the colour of the heel tab if anything) as they're smart for wearing with jeans and comfortable.

They'll sell a lot more of these than they will the special edition monstrosities that both Adidas and Nike spit out regularly!

I wouldn't say SS are ugly (they're no CP's) but anyways I was more speaking of the RS Stan's. Personally not a fan of the Ozweego's, prefer Balenciaga Triple S in that market.

I have no loyalty either, in fact despise Yeezy's but they sell well and have more hype than most Nike releases. The boost technology has elevated Adidas above Nike at the moment.

This is why I love fashion, it's so subjective.

It;s all about the hype. If you know anything about fashion and what's in you would know Nike are not in Adidas' league. The collaborations that Adidas have now would tell you this. The last Nike trainer to have any appeal were the flyknit racer's but even the re-sale value on them have dipped and they are deemed surplus to requirements these days.I'll rest my point with Adidas having huge appeal whilst working with the likes of Raf Simons and co. Also their Stan Smith's model still has a big following and the Yeezy stuff is miles more popular than anything Nike does. I'm just speaking impartially but if you can't see Nike have been left behind you would be a bit bias.

You speak some truth, but no way are Nike that far behind. The addition of the horrendous Yeezy merchandise no doubt gets more publicity, granted, but I wouldn't touch any of that with a barge pole. Opinion not related to Kanye West in any way, it just all looks like tramp gear!

I'm a fan of both really, despite having grown up in Liverpool where everything was Adidas and nothing else was acceptable. Nowadays, i'd say I have as many Nike as I do Adidas, but i'm not loyal to either. I choose what I like, wherever it is from. I think that makes me a lover of both, rather than preferring either.

I'm no brand **** right enough, I just buy what I like. Hell, I even bought a pair of suede boots from Primark recently and they're well smart.

Pair of classic Nike Cortez trainers £20 instore at Ashford Nike Outlet in-store
290°
Found 30th OctFound 30th Oct
ALL trainers at Nike Outlet in Ashford, Kent have an extra 50% off instore. Loads of stock across all sizes I should have bought more in hindsight!

Was up at the Nike Outlet store at Castleford when it opened yesterday and there were groups of men buying several dozen of pairs of trainers/boots to flog on. There was very little left for my son as they took most of the size 10s leaving little else but I asked a staff member and she checked in the back and brought out a pair of these

I have no idea what some people are talking about. I wear a UK9 I bought these in a UK9 and they fit nice. Maybe a little tight as I have wider feet so could probably do with a 9.5 but no way do you need to get a full size up.

Codes expired

I can confirm, after trying on some pairs in my local Nike store, that these shoes run very small.

I normally wear either a UK11 or UK10.5, but had the chance to try on UK11 and UK13 and can say a 'real' UK11 is somewhere between these official sizings.
