    Vax products are generally unreliable though.

    I worked at Currys for many years on the knowhow desk and the return rate for Vax was extremely high, much higher than any other company, there warranty service was also the slowest/worst as well. Everybody I worked with hated Vax for that reason.

    I bought a refurb spot washer on here last year and has already failed and had to be replaced, despite minimal use, which took Vax several weeks to sort. Vax looks good and seems good value on the surface, but they are a bit hit and miss, particularly if you are unlucky with a faulty one. (edited)

    Price is tempting but thanks for clearing the doudt as i wasnt sure .
    If u have knowledge what is the best brand and 2nd .i am torn between shark and dyson atm

    All refurbs I have bought from this company have been new. Superb company I have used them for years. Hot.

    Very good price, I have owned 2 Vax vacuum cleaners for many years, the older one is what the wife uses to clean our artificial lawn, they have never let me down and almost 9 years on they still pick up as good as the day I purchased them, they have had a hard life as well our indoor one is used every day sometimes more than once. I am tempted to buy one of these but not sure if I should buy the cordless versions instead. Hot given
