Trail Ready
The previous Bizango model won numerous awards for its unbeatable spec and incredible ride quality. Unbelievably, the 2022 version has built on this design, raising the bar to the next level!

A refined frame incorporates dropped chainstays, a slacker head angle, and a steeper seat angle – helping you ride with more comfort and increased control.

The upgraded M5100 Shimano Deore 1x11 drivetrain gives a premium feel and efficient performance. With a swipe of the shifter, you can effortlessly shift across the huge 11-51t cassette, confident there’s always another gear ready to help you conquer that hill! When it’s time to test your limits down the trail, the Shimano MT200 hydraulic brakes will provide confidence-inspiring stopping power.

Beloved brandsTo truly excel on the trail, a bike needs to be supported with components from the best brands – and the Bizango doesn’t disappoint.

That’s why the Voodoo design team have turned to brands loved by UK riders to complete the Bizango. The WTB Volt saddle has medium thickness padding ensuring great comfort and performance while its shaping supports pedalling.

The knobbly profile of the Maxxis Ardent 2.25” tyres hold the bike firmly on the trail, with dependable grip around corners, while a ramped design to the centre tread lowers rolling resistance at speed.

Ready for any challenge
With mountain biking, the challenge never ends. You can always push the limits further , and there’s always a new trail ready to be conquered – and the Bizango will be with you every step of the way. Highly adaptable, the Bizango can be easily upgraded as you hone your skills.

Want a dropper seatpost? No problem! Dropper seatposts are a must-have for avid mountain bikers. The frame on the Bizango is specifically designed to fit a dropper post and includes a cut out for internal cable routing.

The Suntour air fork also provides market-leading performance, but if you want to take things to the next level, the tapered headtube is ready to receive any premium fork.

Increasing the adaptability, the rims on the Bizango are tubeless ready, meaning that with a set of suitable tyres and a conversion kit, you can run this popular upgrade. And why wouldn’t you? After all, a tubeless tyre allows you to run lower pressures for more grip and the tyre can self-heal in the event of a puncture

I'd be going for the Vitus Sentier 27 VR at £649 over this.

That has a vastly superior fork, more modern geometry, better tyres, a dropper post and a proper thru axle on the rear hub, not a quick release skewer. (edited)

Quite a big discount over the original price. The dropper, tubeless ready tyres and rear thru axle are all nice things to have. Not a 29er though, if that's what someone's after.

I got a Bizango in November for £675. While it's been a great bike. In hindsight, should've paid the extra for the pro version - ended up getting tubeless tyres and dropper separately.

There's been a lot of sweet MTB deals since I got mine. A little frustrating. But, you can't predict the future. I'll use what I have until I outgrow it.

Anybody have an opinion on the Ribble mountain bikes, they have a sale on but still learning all the lingo for bikes! Oh and thanks to the mods or whoever does it for tidying up my post!

Ribble have a reputation for good bikes and awful customer service. Loads of reports of people waiting months and months for deliveries. I nearly bought one but was warned of potential problems so I shopped elsewhere. I've since met several riders who had this experience. Have a look at the Google reviews, lots of negative comments.

Just bought the voodoo braag. First mountain bike not had one to compare it too, thoughts on the braag?
    Aznar's avatar
Bizango has better components, but Braag is a very good first MTB. Just enjoy your bike. No point to regret as there will be always a better bike for few extra £

Wish mortgage rates would come down like bike prices have
    Aznar's avatar
Sorry... it might be my fault. I had only one birthday wish and had to choose between lower mortgage rates or lower bike prices. It was easy choice for me

Great bike for the price. Consistently wins awards in this price bracket. Bought one last September (cycle to work). Hasn't missed a beat since.
If I was buying again I'd consider upping to the pro version or there's been some really competitive Vitus deals recently too.

Great bike, couple of upgrades and it's quite capible of light to medium downhill riding no double dimond black runs lol..

On a different note, if you buy this please look over every nut and bolt before taking out on the first ride, My mate bought a bike from Halford got it home took it straight out without checking it over and the handlebars twisted on him making him take a nasty fall.

Id say that for any bike from Halford's not just this one.

Yes, I'd echo this. My crank arms weren't torqued up and I could feel them wobbling. It's the young bike mechanics under pressure to assemble bikes. With it being free of charge everyone goes for it so there's a backlog in peak season.

Great bike, have been cheaper though

    Really. When was this?

Would have got this but my work uses cycle solutions for cycle to work scheme and I can't decide on something I like through them!

I bought this last year for a similar price less cashback. It's a great bike for the money and hasn't missed a beat.
I'm 6'1" and ordered the large going by the sizing guide, but the standover height clearance is pretty much non existent for me and at first the bike felt too big especially with the 29" wheels, although I got used to it quickly. (I'm new to mountain biking after years off a bike!)
I'd recommend anyone thinking of buying one to find a store with one on display so you can have it sized properly.

I'm 5'9 and have the medium and feel it's too small at times and feel the large would have been a better option

Or have a look at the Polygon from GoOutdoors Polygon Xtrada 6

Went to Go Outdoors today to buy a small camping chair. After 30% shop closing down discount it was £85. They sold me a membership card for £5. After that and with all 30% off chair was only £29 (plus £5 membership).
So I was expecting to buy a chair for around £20. Paid in the end £34.
There is no f... way I am going to buy a bike from them... or anything else... wonder why they are closing down...

Hello guys what would you pick the Carrera fury mtb or this bike ?
  14. Leigh_Morris's avatar
I had mate mind up to get the fury and now you have made me even more confused with what one to get lol. Appreciate the advice . I don't mind paying the extra little bit if the voodoo is better . A 5 star rating is better ha ha (edited)
