DOBBIES garden centre is having a weber 30% sale on selected BBQs in store and online. I’ve yet to see a smokefire EX6 or EX4 in store though, but the EX4 is available online!

Allows you to go low and slow or crank upto 600degF for proper searing of steaks!

Plus, when you register the smoker BBQ with Weber, until 31/8/23 you get 9 free bags of pellets which is worth another £150 of fuel free!

The Weber Smokefire pellet grill for 30% off The Smokefire range is Weber’s push into the smoker market. This Generation II improves on the original Generation 1 with improved auger, pellet hopper angle and cool box. Compatible with Weber GBS system.

The newer ‘stealth addition’ and ‘sear plus’ sought to add additional features such as an internal light, all black colour, crafted grates but if you know the Weber system, then you can get the g crafted system separately - just depends what your preference is.

Did Weber sort out the issues with these?

Had mine since launch, firmware, software and app all top notch and working great now. Most versatile thing I have out of 5 different devices. Cooking a 3kg Pork Belly, Pork Shoulder for Taco Al Pastor and 5 Beef Cheeks for Tacos tomorrow all at the same time

Would happily buy one again but must admit the new Camp Chef Pellet Grill Pro's looks amazing due for release in August, with the ability to add wood or charcoal chunks to it, if you want extra smoke flavour

I have the Traeger 885 Ironwood. Best purchase I've made in a long time. Cooked amazing food from Brisket to Pork Belly to Steaks. Not just a summer gadget so can be used all year round.

To note. Pellets will be a constant online purchase at around 20 quid a pop.

The food has a beautiful light smokey taste but not too smokey like a charcoal BBQ so don't think everything will be overpowered in taste.

    BBQ Rubs become an obsession.

Simple chicken cooks so much better. Super juicy.

Have a charcoal BBQ next to it to sear meat of needed at the end of a cook such as steaks.

It is heavy. Be careful on positioning it on older wooden decking.

Be ready to get obsessed with YouTube channels on smoking food.

Better off with a Traeger over a Webber!

Yes Webbers are over rated, but I find Weber’s are good….

This is a great deal for this. I'm very tempted. Funds are already strained, though.

Is this a Gen 2, I don't see 'Gen 2' on the site?

Having bought a Traeger recently, I can thoroughly recommend a pellet smoker to anyone wanting to do "proper bbq" - beyond the burgers & sausages.
The cooking space on this doesn't look all that big for the price compared to the Traegers though.

They deliver this BBQ or one has to send a footman to collect?
