Would this fit a corsair 4000d case?

    • Fits GPUs under 340mm with front-mounted AIO and any GPU with top-mounted AIO up to 360mm

    Card Dimension (cm) 34.4 x 12.8 x 5.5

Looks like only if your AIO is top mounted not front

Does anyone think the 7900 XTX is worth the extra £200 (Sapphire Pulse from Ebuyer)? I'm torn because I'm doing a new build, and all I'm waiting for is a GPU, but because I got a really good 4K Dell monitor on offer, I'm feeling like it's worth getting the XTX for the extra horsepower.

I would say it's not worth it, you are paying 35% more for 15% more performance.

Also consider extra heat and noise you have to deal with as this generation of AMD GPUs is not particularly efficient.

Going lower and lower! Like it

Word of advise, these card run notoriously loud and develop overheating issues with hotspot temps reaching 100+ within few month, and good luck dealing with XFX warranty service if you ever have to RMA your card.

Got one 2 weeks ago for £630 from ebuyer site

how many watts does it use?

Currently got a 4070 Super but underwhelmed by it. Will this do the job? Never had an AMD before but tempted by the extra VRAM for some of the more demanding Skyrim modlists.

52678700-b3qac.jpgIt will do the job, Radeon cards are value for money champs, but whether it's worth the performance uplift? Have look at some benchmarks online as you may not be blown away.

These are seriously coming down now want an upgrade for Christmas it's tempting to get now but surely they won't go back up towards end of the year :/
    ws007's avatar
Um, unless AMD or launching a new generation before xmas, they could very well go back up.

    That is a crazy deal!

not really it's 7.5% more expensive than the 4070ti deal however it's only 5% faster at 1440p

it also has 28% more power consumption so thats 28% more heat you need to deal with.

4070ti is still the crazy deal for now - £530 a week ago
  15. HYBRID's avatar
Is this the equivalent of the 4080?
    bonjwa's avatar
No, 7900xtx is. This would be more of 4070 ti super competition

Anyone else getting the code to work? Can't for the life of me get it to apply.

Code does not seem to work. Anyone else get it working ?
    Gazzeer's avatar
Same for me, can’t get it working
  20. navisoul02's avatar
Not for me as I have a 5600X and my CPU would bottleneck this GPU.
Also wouldn't spend this much on a GPU, so suits me .
    Czubaka's avatar
Thanks for sharing. I think you're underselling 5600x, at higher resolutions GPUs does most of the heavy lifting so you'd be surprised - have look at YT, there's a vid of a fella demonstrating at which point 5600 gets bottlenecked.

I just bought and it arrived today a 4070 super. Should i have Buyers Remorse seeing this?! actually don't think this will fit the Tower 300 anyway!  (edited)
    Zeb_'s avatar
not hugely you're missing what 15-20% perf and some VRAM. not a huge deal.
  22. Shaftydude's avatar
With the health code 10% off, picked up a msi 7900 xtx used card from ebuyer for £590.

Some good deals on Ebay right now and with the discount even better.
