Beautiful phone. I've got one below: the 13 ultra. that's a beast especially once you invest time and money into the camera pack and invest in some lenses. If you're into photography the current mi ultra series really are the only way to go. Don't let lack of band 20 automatically make you write it off. I've no band 20 either but using Smarty(Three) I've never had issues. Great phone

By invest in lenses what ones do you recommend. I have the 14 ultra with photography kit. Haven't got around to buying additional lenses yet. Which ones do you recommend. Have you tried anamorphic lenses which fit this phone please

So just how much of an issue is the lack of Band 20 for those who use this or similar phones?

I have the mi 13 with no band 20 and I'm in Liverpool but was in Hungary Serbia and Kosovo recently with it. I use smarty as it's a three network user. I've been informed that three network is the way to go if you've no band 20 as apparently it uses band 20 the least. In Liverpool I've always got 5g so no problem. In the country's I mentioned earlier they're all pretty much 4g reliant: albeit with bloody quick 4g! I was pleasantly surprised as I got 4g most of the time, but when it dropped to 3g the speeds were pretty decent. I appreciate the information I've given is pretty niche but maybe it's a little bit useful. As it's a dual SIM I always throw in a cheap data sim as well for a bit of backup. For example currently the Lebara £1 15gb deal . I think no band 20 is definitely a potential issue but with the current roll out of 5g it's much less of an issue than it would have been even a year ago.

Worth noting that if you buy the official Xiaomi global version, you get a free Pad 6 tablet you can sell for £200ish, a free photography kit you can see for £80ish, £150 trade in promo, and a £50 off voucher. Makes the price a lot more comparable, and you don't compromise on software, signal and warranty

yeah the difference in price just isn't worth it when you take the offers in to consideration. Much better off with the UK deal. 4% TCB too.

The camera kit for this looks like a great addition too.

This is an awful lot of phone for the money as long as you don't mind buying the Chinese version and are happy with buying from Wonda 🔥

....how about a camera with a phone built in ?

From what I understand even official UK version does not come with esim. Please correct me if I am wrong, but do your research before buying, this is the reason, I am not going with UK version!

Been thinking about getting this from Wonda, had a couple of Samsung's in the past when you needed to import to get the Snapdragon versions of the phone. Really good company to deal with. I'm assuming the fast charger in the box won't be a UK plug?
