    I must be daft, only 128gb in modern phones? Strange they can't offer micro sd slots any more but can charge an extra £100 for £256gb!

    It's actually a decent amount of storage based around backing up photos and videos to a cloud (Google photo or others). Unless you constantly have a week of Netflix and loads of high end games sat there 'just in case' you are unlikely to fill it quickly.

    More storage makes people lazy and never sort through the crap, this generally gets transferred to the next phone filling that up from day one.

    128gb is ample for 90% of people if they have an occasional sort out.
