    Is this a reasonable replacement for an aged Redmi Note 8 Pro (with 6gb)? I only use it for day to day browsing / email /photos / youtube. No gaming. (edited)

    How young is 'very young'? In my house you don't get a phone until you are in secondary school.

    Type "poco m5 Roblox" into your browser. Plenty of videos showing that you can play Roblox. Gameplay is smooth and phone doesn't seem to struggle.

    How does this compare with the Note 12? I'm weighing up either this mobile or the 12 using Amazon Italy. Thanks for any help. I'm also considering the Motorola G23 due to it's ram and storage size, (edited)

    Note 12 is the better phone overall, the Snapdragon SOC and OLED screen are the main benefits.
