I had one, and had to return it, it was not logging steps. missed loads out compared to my fitbit charge 4. anyone found this??

Im a postman so I do a lot of steps daily, I have had a few Fitbit watches and I use a Mi Band 4 over them because for counting steps it is far more accurate. I found that when wearing a fitbit they counted far more steps than when I was using the mi band. I decided to test them together so for a few days I had the fitbit on one arm and the mi band on the other, and the difference was huge, at the end of the day the mi band showed around 25,000 steps compared to around 35,000 on the fitbit. I then tried counting steps myself all the way to 1000 to compare against the watches, the mi band 4 was less than 10 off what I had counted, the fitbit was over 100 higher than the 1000 I had counted. Something else I noticed, when driving a car I checked both watches before setting off, the Fitbit registers a lot of steps while driving, wheras the Mi band 4 didn't register any steps which is the main reason I think the Fitbits are inaccurate, they mistakenly count steps when you make any movements with your arms rather than just when you take steps.

Isn't this the same Band 8 but cheaper?

Thanks. Used the code for the Smart Watch 2 instead, £127.49 which is a good price for a Wear OS watch.

I believe Amazon has this on sale for around £30 now. The price has been fluctating these past few days.

Don't expect much from this, it won't output any useful data.

I had the 5 or 6 when I started lock down running. Moved to a Garmin when I got serious. To be honest for the casual person this was fine, and certainly a good entry level but if kit, if you want to track walks and runs.

You need your phone with you to get the GPS stuff, but for a fraction of the price it's not that bad (edited)

Oh great stuff. My current band 6 is getting a bit battered so this is a nice refresh. Cheers!

I'm still looking for a genuine leather strap for mine; seem hard to get hold of
