As far as I can tell, Honor Band 6 and below use the Huawei Health which can sync with Google Fit via a separate workaround app, but Honor Band 7 and above use the Honor Health app which can't sync with Google Fit nor does the workaround app support it, so your health data is essentially an island which will disappear someday along with the band itself.

So really if you value any kind of longevity for the information records, don't buy this.

Heat for the deal but Three's website is probably the worst I've ever used. Searching for this in the search bar at the top gives a certificate error followed by a HTTP 403 error. Searching just for Honor doesn't show this band, neither does listing all products in the shop, so there's no way to check what stores have them in or not. It seems to be an offer for a product they don't sell.

Went in 3 store, no sign of watches anywhere, waited for free advisor, asked about the 3+offer and she said I'll fetch one from storeroom.

Managed to get one in my local store. I was initially told by the Sales Advisor that they don’t sell them as standalone items & they only come as part of a bundle with an Honor smartphone. I showed him the Three+Offer on my phone & he checked with the Store Manager – both checked their systems and were surprised to see that it was a legitimate offer –apparently they hadn’t been told by Head Office about the offer & the Honor Band 7 is currently showing as a ‘nil price’ item (which according to the Sales Advisor usually means the item is either part of a bundle or a discontinued item).

Might be best to ring your local store ahead of making a trip – my store only had 2 in stock, I bought 1 and the Advisor was toying with buying the other himself! (edited)

It's not listed on their site nor is the newer Honor Band 8. Maybe they were given them for bundles which never sold and it's not so much -£17.50 as +£17.50 from zero. 😄

But yeah, terrific offer but this sucks to redeem. No stock checker, staff don't know, useless.

CEX still manage to offer your less than this in cash, I notice. (edited)
