I have the original conexis L1. It's simply game changing had it for about 5 years fitted to my door. No issues paired with 2 cards 2 tags and 3 remotes. Easy to use and no need for keys. Plus I would say its pretty easy to fit. Takes 4 AA batteries says you can't use reachrgeables but I've used them in it for years.

Ah that's really helpful, I'm waiting for mine to arrive! How often do you find you need to replace the batteries? And are there any issues using rechargeables - I've heard that as, unlike alkalines, they mostly maintain their voltage, that they can just stop working one day, rather than giving you a low battery notification well in advance - do you find that's the case?

I have one on my front door, absolutely love it, it detects when I leave and arrive so when I get home it automatically unlocks for me. Also have the smart parcel box which I can remotely unlock when someone uses my ring doorbell to deliver a parcel

Wow! Another thing I did not know I needed haha!! Do delivery drivers generally find it easy to use the parcel box? Are you able to give them one time codes? Just concerned if there's a risk they could open and shut it and leave with your parcel and you would have no recourse unlike if they left it with your neighbour?

I think the hardware is all the same - the difference is just the Yale Access kit. You're able to buy the kit separately too. Most of the complaints for the L1 seem to relate to the old Conexis app - the Access kit lets you use the Yale home app instead. I think having to buy key credits no longer costs anything either but not sure.

Interested - Amazon sell this for the same price, but with 5 interest free monthly payments.
Anyone know the difference between the L1 and L2?

Hey I've mentioned above, the difference is the access kit. Definitely seems to be worth paying extra for imo.

IMO well worth it at that price. Mine was £250 when it came out.

Not sure why the mods removed it but it's £191.40 if you have a blue light card. And RRP is £289.

Blue Light Card codes are available to those with membership and in line with their conditions should not be made public.
