From the voucher description: "Choose from a variety of tools and accessories engineered to help with your cleaning tasks and save 25% until 4th November 2013" Pretty sure it won't include parts, sorry!
maybe it only works for tools and accessories and not replacement parts - shame! Heat added though if you can use this.
I've just tried to use this at dyson for a replacement hose and it did not work - is there a price band you have to cross? Has anybody got this to work? thanks
£80 Off the DC25 Animal with Tangle-free Turbine tool using promotional code @ Dyson
I ordered and selected today - they sent it yesterday! Luckily I intercepted before, and changed. Just be aware - they’re sending out VERY quick, sometimes a day before you even selected.
Just ordered it now, free delivery and good choice of delivery slots direct from Dyson. Also Quidco. The wife couldn't wait till Friday! (nerd)
Yes, the second battery was sent FOC too, 1.5 years after the warranty had expired. They did give me guidance though around batteries as per my comment above and said that they would not be replacing it FOC again hence why I sold it and got a V11.
ok I did some research and the difference are mainly accessories: Pro: Come with Quick-release extension hose and Quick release wide nozzle, and a black colour Extra: Doesn’t have above but come with a stubborn dirt brush So Dyson advisor was wrong, Pro comes with more accessories
I ordered from dyson directly as well, do they send you the new battery even out of warranty?
She a keeper My wife didn't think twice about spending £650 on a vacuum...
I think that is the major problem. Battery driven things, like some tools and vacuum cleaners, become useless very quickly as the battery technology is still very poor and it costs a lot of money to replace them after just a few years. So a perfectly good power drill, for example, will end up in landfill far quicker than a corded one. I have gone back to buying corded power tools now, which I expect will last way beyond any current battery driven version. Waiting for the day battery technology improves to the point where they last as long as the device itself.
I have a v8 which I hate. So expensive (you could have bought three Henry's for the same price)! And the battery died in two years. They charge 65 quid for a new one!!! Luckily it was one week before the warranty expired so they sent a new one. Never again. Luckily I kept my ancient Henry.
Cheaper to employ someone local with a dustpan and brush. We have a country to rebuild. Make sure that the money stays local. I'm sure that an economist will tell me otherwise and advise me to listen to patriots who scarper when they see a better opportunity.
? The world must seem so confusing to you. They're happy with their purchase. I don't know why this thought makes you so uncomfortable...
Probably will be a similar points offer within a month. They had a similar deal in December but £10 of points for every £60 spent.
I want to get the £300 cooper edition with travel bag from boots. I saw that they had £30 worth of points for every £60 spent on technology products on sunday. Didnt realise it was only for that day, went to buy on monday morning and that offer has gone now. Not sure if i should wait for similar offer or just buy it?
Yes it was
Was it the copper edition? £300 new?

Shark Anti Hair Wrap Upright Vacuum Cleaner with Powered Shark Anti Hair Wrap Upright Vacuum Cleaner with Powered Lift-Away and TruePet NZ801UKT
Even though I purchased the new model (this deal) - I have spent 30 minutes this evening dismantling my old dyson, and finding the failed part. After a quick google, a replacement part was ordered for £8. I now have a fully functioning hoover for DIY / hoovering the car!
Same issue so just returned mine within 2 months. Going for a dyson now, hoping it’s better.
I had to return my shark. Corded stick. Spat crumbs out all the time and tube constantly blocked.
I have the dyson ball similar to this in yellow, recommend it. Had dyson dc14 for 10 years was still working but got rid of that one. Haven't used shark so can't compare. I do recommend dyson upright.
Eslake93 - I had the same issues. Called and waited in a queue for 45mins to be told they didn’t have any in stock even though they did when ordering! Said my options were to wait for stock or cancel. So I decided to cancel and bought a different one from dyson/eBay. The same night I got an email to say the Motörhead had been dispatched! So now have two dyson v7s. Sounds like they don’t know what they are doing at the moment!
Is anyone else having immense issues with getting delivery of their vacuum? I was told it was coming on 4th; then on 4th I called and they said it was delayed. Called on 12th and they said they’re not restocking the Motörhead and everyone who ordered one is getting an absolute and emails should have been received, delivery due in the next couple of days. Called today as no email and now the Motörhead is apparently due in on 17th and they’ll be sent out the following week. Worst customer service ever.
Smart Clean Guide I think the difference between the Dyson V6 vs V7 is relatively large. They differ right from the design and color. Their weight is also different. I have consulted the documentation from Smart Clean Guide on comparison and review between the two products. I think the Dyson V7 still has an edge in performance. £ 199 is an acceptable figure for the Dyson V7
Just checked and it’s back in stock!
Welcome to the site @rossi2303 just expired this but thanks for taking the time to post. :3
I ordered on the 4th too, got the adaptor no problem, on my order page it says, order shipped for the adaptor, and order placed for the ball, contacted dyson, said they had no stock, but still, they take my money!!
Folks my order was never shipped. I purchased at 13:56 on the 4th. Yet they say it was out of stock. It bloody wasn’t at that time.
Finally got an updated guarantee. It took some work but I had to resort to twitter.
They will honour it, persistence will win.
I emailed them again yesterday. 🤞 they'll change it this time. Thanks
mine just arrived the same Brown box then inside another brown box with a white sleeve with cellophane. 2 year warranty and the packing would lead me to believe it’s new but not 100
Anyone elses iron/fuchsia box is brown on the short sides? It's white with all marketing bits all round & sealed, but the short sides are cardboard brown...
I’ve been getting updates about my order being amended and it was supposed to arrive on Tuesday but still nothing.
I’ve been wanting one for my wife so just ordered a pink one confirmation said 2 years and email doesn’t state refurbished just shows a £60 discount :) no mention of an extra free tool but I can cope with that

The Dyson Newsroom acts as the brand's blog. Its entertaining and informative articles have the space to go into more depth than the bite-sized pieces on social media. Follow and like Dyson on:
Back in 1978, James Dyson became frustrated with a vacuum cleaner that wouldn't work properly. He took it to pieces to find out why and the Dyson story began. He discovered that the vacuum's bag was clogged up with dust, reducing the machine's suction power. At his factory, Dyson had recently built an industrial cyclone tower to separate paint particles from the air using centrifugal force. He decided to see if the same technology could be applied to the simple home hoover. It took him five years and over 5,000 prototypes but he succeeded. He had created the world's first bagless vacuum cleaner. The invention of further appliances such as bladeless fans, air purifiers, heaters and light followed and in 1991, Dyson Limited was founded. Today, the company is a respected and recognised name with over 12,000 employees around the globe.
The Dyson Product Range
Dyson doesn't have a huge product range but believes in doing what it does very well. Its main product lines fall into six main categories:
Whichever kind of Vacuum Cleaner you choose, you can be sure it has been engineered by Dyson to deep clean your home. Choose from cordless stick vacuum cleaners like the V11, which you just grab and go, more conventional upright vacuums, compact cylinder vacuums and lightweight handheld cleaners. Or, if you hate to hoover, there are even powerful robot vacuums. Let them do the hard work while you're out enjoying yourself.
If you're worried about the effect heat from conventional hairdryers is having on your hair then look at the Dyson range of Hair Care. Enjoy superfast drying with the Dyson Supersonic dryer; curl, wave and smooth with the Dyson Airwrap or straighten your hair without heat damage using the Dyson Corrale Straightener.
Elegant to look at and totally safe to use - no blades to trap little fingers - the Dyson Air Treatment range lets you switch between heating and cooling while dehumidifying and purifying the air.
There is nothing more annoying than inadequate light when you're trying to read or work but Dyson Lighting lets you put powerful light exactly where you need it. The custom-engineered optics and Heat Pipe technology are designed to last for decades. Choose from floor, desk, task or suspended designs.
Products for Business
Dyson technology is more than just about caring for your home. If you have business spaces to look after as well, then Dyson Business Products include energy-efficient hand dryers, air treatment equipment for healthy workspaces and powerful vacuums for efficient office cleaning.
Parts and Accessories
Most Dyson vacuums and hair dryers come with a range of tools and accessories to enhance and extend their use. If you lose these or want to add accessories to a basic model, you'll find them in Parts and Accessories. Simply select the machine you own and choose the parts or accessories that work with it.
Dyson Link App
Download the Dyson Link app to future-proof your home. Then you can control your robot vacuum, purifier or intelligent lighting from the app or by giving Siri or Amazon Alexa a voice instruction. With the app, you can set schedules, review performance data, access real-time troubleshooting and keep on top of maintenance.
Enjoying the Dyson Shopping Experience
Dyson wants you to get the right product for your needs so gives plenty of product information and shopping advice on its website. If you register the machine you have bought, you'll also receive plenty of after-sale care and information. Start your shopping experience on the Dyson website by choosing your category of machine such as Hair Care, Vacuum Cleaners or Air Treatment and then click on specific models for further information. If you want to compare products and prices, similar brands are Bissell, Kärcher and Hoover.
The Dyson Sale and Other Offers
Although Dyson products aren't cheap, they're generally considered to be value for money. There are, however, several ways you can save on your new Dyson vacuum or hairdryer. As new models are released, the price of older ones is reduced on the Dyson website. Shop around as well at trusted online or high street retailers such as Amazon or Currys PC World. Shops such as these often have sales where you can pick up good Dyson deals. They'll also take part in the Black Friday event of late November and you may find even greater Dyson offers on the product you want. Don't forget to pay regular visits to hotukdeals where Dyson promo codes are often available.
The Dyson Guarantee
Dyson has every faith in its products and backs this up with an extensive guarantee promise. Depending on your product, it will be guaranteed for either two or five years. Provided it is used in the way it should be your Dyson Guarantee covers:
Batteries and selected parts for the same time period as your machine's guarantee.
Free collection and repairs if something does go wrong during the guarantee period.
Free replacement if your machine cannot be repaired.
If you decide to upgrade your machine and give your existing one to someone else, you can transfer the remaining period of guarantee into their name.
