Actually I've just had quite a good experience with currys/pc world with regards to a 4k Panasonic 55" TV I bought from them in 2016. I had a problem with screen burn on the TV, which showed up as a white patch on the TV which wouldn't go away. They are now fitting a brand new replacement Panasonic screen free of charge, and its all been covered by there free five year warranty. Some times they do get it right.

I did take my complaint all the way and after HOURS of work, investigating & stress . I got issued a full refund and told to keep the product . I will never go back . Terrible after service care , once they have your money they don't want to know .
Lesson learnt # don't shop there

Can someone fill me in as to why this is being voted cold? I know it's not an OLED but still, 699 for a 65 inch Samsung HDR 4K unit seems good to me? The model is only just over a year old. (edited)

I think it’s because most people would prefer the nu8000 but that’s another £300 or so

Many years on and I am now in the dreadful boat of Currys refusing the 5 year guarantee. I have no proof as now I look back at the receipt it has no information of the 5 years.
Any advice?
I purchased December 2018, even a screenshot anyone has would help 😞
