3984745_1.jpg you are not in a hurry, I would wait for Redmi Note 10 5G to become available for £99 again. But it is out-of-stock at the moment and not sure when there will be another sale. Nevertheless, at this price point, Redmi 10 2022 is an excellent buy. Redmi 10 has been slightly cheaper in the past, but if you can get it for £89, you are not far the lowest ever price of £84.

Yet again another decent spec’d cheap phone by Xiaomi but I’m afraid I will pass on this one. The Chinese government spying issue is a real worry for me. Do you guys not worry about your devices being harvested for data by the Chinese government?

I’m more worried about saving money tbh.

How fast are these 100£ phones compared to old S10, in terms of gaming performance?
    Exconnaught's avatar

    Replying to

    Not sure which part you're referring to in terms of a description, but suffice to say;

The x3 works for me for gaming really well.
I hear the F3 or indeed the x3 pro are even better (their specs say thats so) and both go sub £200 now.
My S10 is still a fine phone, real term I couldn't say there's anything between it and my x3 nfc gaming wise.

If I had £200 and wanted a gaming phone today a second hand F3 from cex would look very tempting right now.

I know the x4 and x4 pro are out but from what I've heard, they are a step forward and a step back.

I'd say these days £200 buys you something that's an incredible phone if you shop around. £250 and the case for a current flagship (let alone a 2020/2019 one) gets very difficult indeed.

£100 is a wee bit too budget and a Redmi 10 is not a gaming phone in any regard. (edited)

Great deal but their online store is the WORST!!!

Wow, so painful - just had the issue with:
    1. Postcode - make sure it is capitals, one "thing" eg. XX12ZZ, avoiding wrong parameter issues etc etc!!
    2. Paying - please take my money! App kept complaining about timeouts when trying to pay by credit card... had to resort to Paypal - dodgy looking double login then ensues.

How can it be SOOOOOO bad for an online company?
Thankfully now done, but never again, only did it for my mum!

There is a £5 off offer if you download the app. No idea if it can work with the deal, but worth a shot

That is a lot of phone for less than £100.

This is a really good deal for the average user. As long as your not a gamer or after lots of storage or a snapdragon specifically. This will be just fine for most people.

My only criticism is the charger is the old bog standard 18W and not a slightly higher wattage that charges the 5000mah battery quicker.

Are you sure? I think I bought this phone for a friend a couple of months ago and it came with a 20w charger

Chill. It was a question: "what application does 5g have". Clearly you don't want to answer, that's fine. Have a good evening

Is this model susceptible to the banking app security issue mentioned in HUKD discussion at hotukdeals.com/dis…983 ?
    iamqwerty123's avatar
who cares. stop using apps for everything. you've already got one app that does nearly everything. it's called a web browser.

I took a picture with the wife's phone of the night sky in a field with her Huawei P30 pro and it was awesome.

I want something in that price range with equal or better camera.

Thanks for clarifying, so around £250 like we paid for them via those O2 Refresh deals in late 2019?
None come close camera-wise I feel, you'll need to get something like a Pixel 6a or Samsung A53 minimum I reckon, so £300-400 spend.
Or, a secondhand P30 Pro perhaps for ~£200.

    Hi
I can go as low as £258 for this one and the Poco X4 Pro 5g (8gb+256gb) by using discounts and 1900 points.
Can someone confirm please if I convert 200 points for further £20 off would they allow another coupon on top to be used. Last time I tried on another phone I ended up losing points as I couldn't revert them back for not using them
    Thanks in advance

I'm assuming you've found it now as this comment is a few days old but if not and for anyone else's help you need to go into the app in the Mi points section and "claim" them, it's also a good idea if you're planning further purchases to carry on collecting points, it shows you how in the same section of the app.
