  • The brains behind Pixel 6a. Google Tensor makes Pixel 6a super smart, secure and powerful. It's the first chip designed by Google just for Pixel.
  • The battery that follows your lead. Google Pixel's Adaptive Battery can last over 24 hours. It learns your favourite apps, so it doesn't waste power on the ones that you rarely use.
  • A camera that lets you express yourself.. Make faces look sharper with Face Unblur, take beautifully accurate photos of different skin tones with Real Tone and remove unwanted objects with Magic Eraser.
  • Google Tensor helps you get things done fast. Google Tensor makes Google Pixel 6a fast and responsive. Apps launch fast, pages and images load quickly, and everything runs smoothly
  • Pixel charges fast. Really fast..When you plug in your Google Pixel, it charges fast. With just a few minutes of charging, your phone gets hours of power.

Powered by Google Tensor for fast performance.

Adaptive Battery can last over 24 hours.

Intelligent photography for truly amazing shots.

Highly-rated security, plus water resistance.

Designed around you, inside and out.

1 Compared to RRP of Pixel 6. 2 Estimated battery life based on testing using a median Pixel user battery usage profile across a mix of talk, data, standby and use of other features. Average battery life during testing was approximately 29 hours. Battery life depends upon many factors and usage of certain features will decrease battery life. Battery testing conducted in California in early 2022 on pre-production hardware and software, using default settings. Battery testing conducted using Sub-6 GHz non-standalone 5G (ENDC) connectivity. Actual battery life may be lower. Wired charging rates up to 18W based on use of Google 30W USB-C® or Google 18W USB-C® Charger plugged into a wall outlet. Actual results may be slower. Adapters sold separately. Compatible with USB PD 3.0 PPS adapters. 3 Designed to comply with dust and water protection rating IP67 under IEC standard 60529 when each device leaves the factory, but the device is not water or dust proof. The accessories are not water or dust resistant. Water resistance and dust resistance are not permanent conditions and will diminish or be lost over time due to normal wear and tear, device repair, disassembly or damage. Dropping your device may result in loss of water/dust resistance. Liquid damage voids the warranty. See g.co/pix…ter for details.

O2 refresh is £258.60 so technically lower but well worth 40p more not to have to call and speak to O2. That's worth £40 .

To those asking, use the £10 credit on Google Play by selecting Vodafone Billing with the SIM in a phone.
    Ryo28's avatar
Good tip on the SIM credit. When I bought a phone on a similar deal a while ago I also used the credit to buy things from the Microsoft/Xbox store, and for charitable donations by text, in case that helps anyone.

How does this compare to a Xiaomi Poco F3 phone which is regularly on offer for £185
    DucksCourage's avatar
Poco F3 has a better screen (120hz vs 60hz). Performance is quite similar. Pixel 6a has a better camera, is waterproof, and much better software (although this can be remedied on the F3 with a custom ROM). Poco F3 probably has better battery life is you use a custom ROM, otherwise pretty similar. (edited)

Can't decide if this will be a good replacement for my Poco F2 Pro.
    Fuzzarr's avatar
Poco better battery life, bigger screen, lovely notchlessness, roughly equal processor (depending on the task), more premium feeling build

Pixel better camera performance, update lifecycle, pocket-friendly size, simpler Android experience (whether this is a pro or con depends on whether you prefer a simple UI or more complexity)

I couldn't believe how long a charge would last on my (now long gone) F2 Pro

Can somebody tell me if this is unlocked please?
    Gadgeteer's avatar
All UK phones are unlocked now, by law
  5. sparks22's avatar
So am I right in thinking that when you get £10 top up, if you don't use it then it disconnects after 180 days? So basically just stick your current sim card into the new phone when it arrives if already on a sim card only deal? Thanks
    Mark_Baker's avatar
Just don’t use it, there’s no contract and no obligation to use their SIM.

Apols. Bit out of the phone buying loop here; I want a decent SIM free phone (& this looks good) but how does it work with Voda. here? Is it locked? To Voda.? After the initial month, (you have to buy, right?) can I ditch Voda. and switch to ano provider without unlocking it as such? Thanks.
    Gadgeteer's avatar
All phones in UK are unlocked now. It's just a PAYG SIM, you don't have to leave them, just don't top it up further

    This or the A52S 5G?
    Shenx's avatar
Was thinking the same thing tho I have went with this over it.

I was looking on YouTube for compare vids and this is compared more to the a53 not the 52 the 52 seems to be on par with the pixel 4

Is the "Redmi Note 10 5G" a good phone? Never owned a Redmi phone, or known anyone who owned one either. I notice the RAM is lower than most other newer phones.
    litwoojczyznomoj's avatar
Depends what you are used to. It's a basic 5G phone. Performance is better than most phones in this price range . Screen is not very bright and struggls in direct sunlight. Camera is ok in good conditions but in darker scenes the results are less impressive . It's OS, MIUI is a bit of a mixed bag. It's quite customizable , has some extra features compared to basic android. It could be a good idea to look up some MIUI videos online(YouTube)to see if it is to your liking. I owned 3 or 4 Xiaomis throughout the years and they were as reliable and we'll made as other big brands. (edited)

Cor, these Pixel deals are just crazy. Starting to think that Pixel is finally out to get itself a decent share of the market. Watch out Samsung.

I bought a pixel 6a from Google, trade in for iPhone 8 = £184, working, factory reset, no damage. Sent back after valuation😡

good price. I have a poco f2 pro which i love but my dad's phone died and I told him id pass hid down mine this xmas. I know the cam in this is great but will it feel like a downgrade from the poco performance wise ? (SD865)
    Molybdegums's avatar
The whole Pixel 6 line uses the same Tensor CPU + Mali GPU and has equal if not better performance
  31. Liz_Huggins's avatar
So if on a pay monthly with another provider, can i just put that SIM into new phone, or do I have to use PAYG sim first?
    MrSwitch's avatar

Yeah, you can start using your current sim in this immediately
  32. Chojiin's avatar

I don’t know much about the 6A but when I needed a cheap phone I bought a 3a which was quite a bit dearer than this and I ended up keeping it over 2 years as it was brilliant. Bit cheap and flimsy in the hand but it was a great performer. I suspect this should be better
  35. Oldie2's avatar
Many years ago my Vodafone sourced Huawei Smartphone retained some Vodafone branded features and Apps after being unlocked. These were impossible to remove, much to my disappointment.

Can anybody with this already unlocked Vodafone Pixel 6a say if various Vodafone Apps are still pre-installed and are not subsequently deletable by the purchaser.

In other words, would there be any evidence that the 6a was originally a Vodafone sourced product, apart from some branding on the box! Thanks.

I am currently a iPhone 8 user, how does this compare to my current phone? Also how would one transfer data/apps etc. from Apple to Google?? #Confused.com
    jameshothothot's avatar
you can compare phones on notebookcheck

for ech comparison eg battery life, processor speed etc add in another phone in comparison

though sometimes there wont be a match if one is really old vs another new one

I'm finding letting my p30 pro Go so hard it's only the updates that bother me.
Is this the deal? Doesn't seem much of a upgrade for £250 tbh.
    s87's avatar
I wouldn't say its an upgrade. More comparable with the p30 lite if anything. I've purchased to upgrade my parents from p30 lites. Similar class just newer tech
  39. BoHo's avatar
Does anyone know if these are dual sim? And if you're an existing Vodafone contract customer, do you still have to buy the £10 top up? I remember last time, I bought a PAYG handset from them, they wouldn't sell it without the top up.
