I've flown with wizz around 20 to 30 times. No issues whatsoever other than one 5 hour delay in MXP. I was compensated the required 250 eur for it but it did take a few months.

Great place to visit. Friendly people and low prices. Literally the best wines I've tried. Also a lot of stuff to see if you're into history - this area of the Balkans was part of the Ottoman Empire, Bulgarian Empire, the East Roman Empire, the regular Roman Empire and ancient Macedonia.

But March is one of the worst times to visit - it's still quite cold and rainy. And you won't be able to enjoy fresh local fruits and vegies.

If you go in the summer, take the bus to Lake Ohrid, it's beautiful down there.
The lake is so large it's like being by the sea, with pebbly beaches.
Wizz do also fly to Ohrid, but only 2-3 times a week in the summer.

Visited Skopje last year, nice place to visit for a few days - especially if you like statues
