About this deal
This deal is expired. Here are some options that might interest you:
Seems like a great deal to me, it's about £250 cheaper than RRP. It's £150 less than the Debut Carbon Evo, but has the upgraded acrylic platter. It also has the same Ortofon Red 2m cartridge as the more expensive Evo.
Comes with a 2 year warranty.

Make vinyl part of your Sonos experience when you connect this turntable to Amp, Five or Port. The harmony of Pro-ject's turntable expertise coupled with Sonos' wireless components makes for an awesome listening experience.
The Debut Carbon Esprit Phono SB turntable takes the hugely successful, multi-award winning Debut Carbon design and adds even more to the already impressive package. On top of the impressive feature set of the standard Debut Carbon DC, including the stunning carbon fibre tonearm and Ortofon 2M Red cartridge combination; the Esprit SB version also benefits from an intuitive speed controller for effortless changing between 33 and 45rpm. The Debut Carbon Esprit Phono SB can also spin at 78 RPM by manually switching the drive belt to the larger pulley rung (underneath the platter) and setting the speed changer to '45/78'.
(Please Note: 78 RPM records require a special stylus - we recommend the Ortofon 2M 78 Stylus for this turntable).
As well as being convenient, the speed control system also allows for smoother motor operation - further reducing unwanted resonances along with Pro-Ject's specially-developed motor isolation system. The new motor isolation system utilises Pro-Ject's preferred Thermo-Plastic Elastomer (TPE) compound to achieve dramatically reduced resonance transference from the high-quality 9V motor.
Another significant sonic benefit for the Debut Carbon Esprit SB is found in the included platter upgrade. Supplied with a 12" Acryl-IT platter, acrylic is a an excellent playback platform for vinyl, as it offers almost no resonance in the audible frequency range and negates the need for a slipmat, which can sometimes cause problems with slip and/or static.
The Debut Carbon Esprit Phono SB takes an established hi-fi design and adds some impressive upgrades to achieve an even more complete, more high-end turntable system.
Dimensions
415 x 118 x 320mm
415 x 365 x 405mm (Open Lid)
Weight - 5.6kg
Comes with a 2 year warranty.

sorted byO2M is a decent cartridge. But I don't think at that level one could hear a difference between this and Evo. So it's all about the aestehetics.
It's like homeopathy for geeks.
No offence..... 😏
"I know nothing about turntables" probably would have been best to end your comment there.... no offence.
This looks a really solid deal for a manual deck.
Not sure this turntable is any better than my current Rega P2 with acrylic platter though? (edited)
This table ultimately lead me down a rabbit hole of upgrades though. I sold it on for a Technics SL-1200GR, valve preamp and Ortofon 2M Bronze stylus and cartridge. (edited)
Have some HEAT (edited)
Been watching the evo for a while but maybe this is a better option?
If anyone doesn't know, you will need either a special phono input on your amplifier, or a separate phono pre-amp if you want to plug it into a generic input on an amplifier.
