RX5700 for considerably less than a RX5600XT.

It was outside my power budget, but because it is so cheap I can just undervolt, underclock, or just take it easy.

I mentioned it on sale in a previous deal, hotukdeals.com/dea…775, which has now expired but was very interesting. It was £90 + VAT May 1st - 3rd with Choice delivery. Since it uses the 7nm node I thought it was worth the extra from franken-580s from Lexindar. Elsa are a bigger brand, but prices are prices.

This too is part of Aliexpress choice, which claims 11 days postage.

Let me know your thoughts.

Despite the ELSA branding, the card actually appears to be manufactured by XFX, so it should be of good quality. It seems to use the cooler from XFX's 5600 XT, just without the branding.

I'm not sure about the ELSA brand but this card looks ok. It's showing up at a slightly cheaper £98.89. The RX 6600 offers roughly 7% more performance than the RX 5700 but costs almost 100% extra.

I've bought a used Sapphire GPU from AliExpress. Arrived in one week, the card was in good condition and ran 100% stable. The downsides were it ran a bit hot and loud and the fans were a little worn so made a grating sound at low rpms. I serviced the GPU with fresh TIM/new fans and ended up with a great all-around card, however, not everyone can or wants to service a used GPU so bear that in mind if buying from a Chinese miner on Aliexpress. There is a lot of value to be had here if you know what you're doing.

180w is the whole card, 158w sounds right if that's the peak in the driver onscreen for peak chip power. The other 22w is vram power delivery ect...

Thanks for all the cold votes. I checked eBay sold prices in response and see that I could spend hours trying to snipe for £110. Normally they are £130 plus.

I was genuinely interested in your thoughts, which I suppose is asking for unconstructive cold votes.

I've been buying AliExpress cards for awhile, no major issues so far, apart from a card that was advertised as RX590 GME just being a 580 with modded BIOS. Made a few videos on YT. Great buy if all legit.

They are not his pics, also GPU serial number is a 5700XT, they got the picture from another review. Check the russian 1 star from link below.

That picture from the review is fake, they stole it from another review. Someone messaged me with the details on my YT channel.

These destroy anything Ngreedia puts out- so you'll see Ngreedia black PR brigading here against the card. Ngreedia spends tens of millions of dollars a year on negative PR, ensuring the competition is knocked anywhere you go online.

The 5700, undervolted and overclocked, sits a little above the 6600/6600M, but uses more power. These 3 AMD options destroy anything Nvidia has by price, and at this level, the nonsense of RT is NOT a viable option on Nvidia. Steam surveys show the utterly useless Nvidia 1650 rules- how do you think Nvidia manages to sell a card as bad (and expensive) as the 1650? A lot of paid lying propaganda against AMD online, that's how.

I actually bought a 5700, or 5700XT in 2021. Scan had them briefly at retail price, which was like £350-£400. I bought 1660S too and they'd only let me have one so I chose the Asus Phoenix 1660S at about £220. Single fan, but did have the Hynix VRAM that could add about 4MH/s if I underclocked it.

Not a fan of Aliexpress or mass sold refurbished GPU's but this is a really good price considering, cant deny that, would be great is a low-mid end rig or in a media center pc for 4k video and casual games on the couch. Thats heat in my book, voted hot.

Just a couple year ago this card was stupidly expensive, i'm glad mining has died and all the miners profits with hit.

We had enough bloody crypto scams and pyramid schemes, pump and dumps.

These were one of the most sought after cards for mining Ethereum. China had literal crypto mining factories. Good chance that this has been absolutely hammered for mining, so at the very least be prepared to need to repaste this, clean out a load of dust from the heatsink, and expect to have to replace the fans at some point.

Dident the 5700 use hbm memory, that runs hot killing the cards prematurely? sounds like a good price but also a gamble if it dies after a couple of months...

Nothing wrong with the GTX 1650, I paid £140 for a MSI ventus in 2018, it extended the life of my old desktop for another 2 years which had no additional power socket for the GPU, sold it for £100 2 years later, £20 depritation a year. You wouldn't find something like that in today's market.

6500xt is £140 new. But buying a 4gb GPU in 2023 is pointless.
