Back in the day everyone wanted one....then Google blocked them

    Still today people want them.
The p30 has Google service and the models above that don't, you can add it, if you really want Google services.

I bought p20 pro in 2018, bought p30 pro in 2022 and it is by far the best phone in existence. The price you can buy them for is unbelievable considering what they can do. The p30 pro beats most new phones on spec alone, most new phones cost £500+.

I do secretly enjoy the fact people don't know how good the Huawei pro range is and they continue to "upgrade" their iPhone or Samsung device 😁

My Mate 20X is so awesome that it generates existential dread!
The group that run America, Korea and Japan knew exactly what they were doing when they banned Huawei from using Google services. (edited)

Funny isn't it Huawei were a 'security' threat but once Google services were removed they're ok. So GMS was the security threat whilst being ok on other phones

I wish those that believed the US can make it make sense lol. They still believe the spying scam when it's obviously a ruse to ban the competition as US & ally tech companies couldn't compete on price (edited)

I have "upgraded" my P30 pro 128GB after 3 years of going strong to P30 Pro 256GB... its amazing phone!

I have the p30 pro and for the last 3 years it's been an amazing phone. Looking at getting a new phone as some of the apps aren't compatible now (seems to be an update that's not available to Huawei phones). The problem is there's nothing new out that's worth upgrading to. There's a couple of phones which are better but they are stupidly expensive and not much better.

What apps aren't compatible sorry? Because I never encountered this issue, and I don't think apps are requiring newer android version from what is on board, and also EMUI 13 should be on the way

Loved my P30, front camera stopped working properly, px'd for a Pixel 7 (one of the many Pixel 7 deals on here). My P30 had stopped getting updates, and other than the front camera, it held its own with the Pixel. Camera very similar, P30 better camera zoom, Pixel better video zoom. Pixel a bit snappier in use. Screen similar. Battery life similar, although P30 edges it. P30 battery charged quicker. P30 still ridiculously good with a modern phone.

I still use my P30, it's a fantastic phone and takes great photos. My usb-c port has started to be a bit flakey but that's the only issue. I've flirted with "upgrades" several times but nothing is better-enough to be bothered with. If a P30 pro comes up for ~£100 I'll probably get one of those

I'm still using my P30 as I have yet to find anything worth upgrading to. Great phones.

CEX Grade B are near perfect condition with only 1 or 2 small scratches S10 Plus is the best bang for buck at £150 ish with multiple options for colour and sim. Mine is on android 12 and still receiving security patches but my main selling points are 1. Good battery 4100mah 2. 4k 60fps video with perfect stable HDR10+ video capability 3. Aux and Micro SD support last of a dying breed

I didn't have good experience with clove till now. Bought one opened never used phone from them and came with dings on all corners. This is a fair condition so will be bad anyway.

It's better to buy from FB marketplace or eBay even if it's a few pounds more as fair condition will mean loads of marks and dents. As it's described correctly, you wouldn't be able to return it free of cost to Clove (Free returns if the item is not as described).

I had the P30 Pro but it had an issue where it wouldn't connect to Wifi unless I was really close (like 10 feet away) to the router, whereas all the other phones we have in the house can connect fine from a fair distance away. Not sure if it was a problem with my phone or others have experienced it.

Changed from a Mate 20 Pro after three years to a Pixel 7 Pro recently so my mum could get a decent phone and have my Huawei. lt doesn't feel like much of an upgrade beyond the camera tbh – especially on the battery life – the Mate 20 Pro was waaay ahead of its time, and Huawei's battery replacement service was a bargain when I used it. Assume the P30 is even better!

Huawei's battery replacement offer not on ATM, so £59. They did it for half that for about 6 months. Hopefully they'll bring the offer back.

Bad luck. Guess your options are to return it or get a permanent marker and "colour" in the nicks? That's what I did previously for a S21 ultra with a few nicks on the casing anyway. Once you stick it in a case and put a screen protector, you'll probably not notice it

Just got mine and would say it's "good" condition rather than fair (edited)
