Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G Design & Display
The handset has a durable plastic backing with a smooth contoured finish that houses the triple camera (which we will talk more about later) and an aluminium frame. The front is a and new improved 6.4 inch, and has a Dynamic Amoled 2x display with 120Hz refresh rate (for faster scrolling and a better gaming experience). The Corning Gorilla Glass Victus (which we are assured is the toughest glass for a Samsung Smartphone device) ensures that your S21 FE 5G should be a even more resistant to breaking. Nestled in the top of the screen is a tiny punch hole for that all important selfie cam.

The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G is available in a number of striking colour designs including White, Lavender, Olive and Graphite.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G Camera
Samsung has built the S21 FE 5G with 4 cameras in total. On the front you will find a 32MP Selfie Cam which automatically highlights your features (just in case you forget to turn on those oh so important filters). To the rear of the handset there is a triple lens camera set up which houses a 12mp (Ultra Wide) lens, a 12mp (Wide Angled Lens) and an 8mp (telephoto lens). The handset also benefits from 30X Space Zoom, Zoom lock (for a steady video whilst zooming) and allows for dual (Auto HDR) recording. And with the handset available in 128GB or 256GB of storage space, you will be able to snap away all day.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G Audio
The handset is equipped with stereo speakers. And although it doesn’t have a 3.5mm headphone jack, you can use the charging port with an adapter. Alternatively wireless headphones will be an option too.

Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G Features & Performance
A processor that works hard, so you can play hard (is a quote direct from Samsung). The handset has the most powerful chipset to date and is able to efficiently multitask or experience heavy gaming until your heart is content.

Want to binge watch your favourite show all day? No problem, the 4500mAh battery will have no issue with this even when using the power of 5G connectivity. And with “Fast Wireless charging 2.0”, 50% charge in less than 30 mins and you are even able to use your phone to charge a friend’s handset, your Galaxy watch or even your Galaxy Buds

For casual phone photography on social this is still better than a lot of the phones out now. Best differential is the 32mp selfie cam. Even the S23 only has a 12mp camera front cam.

Back cameras are still very capable but that 32mp selfie is garbage comparing to 12mp in s23. Remember that MPs mean nothing.

Can anyone offer some advice please? I need a new phone... Currently have a very battered pixel 3a and don't think the camera takes photos as well as it used to. Is this the best phone option for photography around this price point or can anyone suggest something else? So confused!

Other than photography which is most important, the main use will be for messaging and using apps to listen to music/audiobooks/for social media and watching things on YouTube. Thanks!

Pixel 6 series is a hot mess, go 7 series if that's the route you're taking. Good offers pop up frequently if you're patient, add a notification.

There's nothing else really in the price ballpark for photography quality. Selfies and videos are comparatively a bit crummy apparently but I've not had anything similar to compare with.

Just bear in mind that both of those, plus Samsung 21/22, all suffer from weak battery life.

Dont buy this Phone, the battery is absolute rubbish! Even with battery saving mode etc.
The Snapdragon drains far to much battery... I got the phone after release for the same price (trade in any smartphone + 150 + 100 Cashback via topcashback) and still have it, but i really cant recommend it as well as the screen brightness if you are outside. If Samsung would have offered to trade in the s21fe for the s23 ultra or s23 i would have done it already...

Weird, i have one and the battery is really good once that non adaptive 120hz display is turned off.

I got this when it was released. Don't bother if you want something more than a basic phone. So many little things fail on it. Can't even use Google pay more than once! I contacted Samsung within weeks of buying it. They wouldn't entertain me. I use the accessibility option as I have bad hearing and hearing aids do nothing for me. If I turn the option on, it stays on only until I get any notification. So I have to carry 2 phones (an old one) around

Is this the 6 or 8gb model, as there seems to be 2?

Bought to replace my aging S8. Wanted to stick with Samsung and for roughly the same price as the A54 I thought this would be the better option as I like the convenience of wireless charging.

I recently got a Samsung A34 5G to replace my S8. Picked up the 256Gb model for £299 (possibly a pricing error as the 128Gb was listed at £349). I couldn't justify the current prices for the S models. More than happy with it and not bothered about wireless charging. Battery life is good, although I'll admit I'm not a heavy user. (edited)

I had this last year, battery life is awful. I had to trade it in for something else

If you turn the non adaptive 120hz off the battery is really good on these and tbh I prefer 60hz over 120hz.

Could someone give me a recommendation for a phone that is around £300-£350 price range?

I plan on buying one for my dad and I am not sure what to get him.
He will probably be using it for gaming and social media mainly, so it has to have a decent battery life.

    Many thanks in advance!

Dual sim only on this I think. Can't expand storage like on the the S20 FE. (edited)

A34 has two slots so it can be either dual SIM or single SIM plus micro SD up to 1Tb to expand storage. I have that set up and load photos onto the SD card. (edited)

Hard to recommend this at this price. I paid the same amount for one direct from Samsung when it was first released (with a broken trade in).

It has quite a few flaws in my opinion. It gets very hot, the camera is average and the battery life is not good at all. (I use 120hz).

However, performance is superb and the screen is excellent. If this was closer to £300, I'd say it's a decent deal.
