If you book in Euro you likely get a cheaper price. The pricing and calculation from £ to € are not really useful:
From the EU to London it is 39€ or £39.
From London to the EU it is 35€ or £35. As 35€ are around £30 apparently, that may be the better price if you have no fees for paying in Euro.

The trick is the pricing and currency depend on the language selection. Choose „Belgium English” to get the Euro prices. The best link is: eurostar.com/uk-…res

Also if you want to pay the pound price, you may find this website more useful that finds the cheapest prices: eurostar.com/uk-…res The prices of this deal are highlighted in green.

I also (cross-)posted this deal on the German Pepper community (MyDealz) that has some more details, which are however mostly irrelevant if you are travelling from London. (edited)

Every time I select Belgian English it only shows train between london and
Brussels in the flash sale. How can I get London to Paris flash sale prices in euros?
  2. deleted531767's avatar
I'd make it a one way ticket if I was still living in London. Luckily I escaped in 2021!

    Good price for these tickets.

If you think London is bad then you really should see the suburbs of Paris....

    Flights are cheaper

Depends on where you stay. Eurostar is convenient for those in and around London.
  4. rugk's avatar
BTW, much to recommend for train travel through Europe is also Seat61, there are also more information about the Eurostar and it's pricing etc.: seat61.com/tra…htm

Does anyone know how much train tickets in Paris are to other parts of France? Like Nice or somewhere...I'm assuming they can't be as expensive as UK train prices.
Also anyone know where to get good deals for Disneyland Paris? (edited)

    Paris hotels are not cheap
  7. psd99's avatar
    Great deals at £35
But how can they be cheeky to make it the same price for kids? Surely should be cheaper like half that price.
    abeuk's avatar
Do kids take up half a seat?

I did the Eurostar to Brussels trip in the last sale beginning of the year and it was a good experience. Check-in/Passport control was very quick, I would definitely use Eurostar again.
    teerex's avatar
Yup, got back from Paris a couple of weeks back and loved Eurostar
  9. Smiggle's avatar
My rail ticket to London is more expensive
  10. vinay1's avatar
Thank you very much. Got a fri - mon for £70PP.

Those with kids any recommendations for centrally located Hotels that will do family rooms (4 in room)?

The hotels I used to stay at for work seem to be 3 in a room max or a suite :/ From a quick search the rest are a bit further out.

Great prices but I was looking for accommodation and couldn't believe how expensive is. 5 years ago when I went there last time was affordable. Now, not so

Just booked on Saturday and cost an arm and a leg
    bkpatel's avatar
    Very expensive when full price

Thank you so much for the heads up. Booked a trip for £70 (+ ins) next month

Thanks for the post, was about to book to Bxl yesterday! Probably saved me £40

Pretty useless for 1 overnight stay as you have to select a late evening departure out and then an early morning return back to get £35 each way. This is for Paris

Yh, think they were snapped up this morning, nice to see there's a few August ones still left though (hardly any offers around in the school holidays)

When I went to Antwerp on Eurostar, the conductor on the Brussels to Antwerp leg said something to me about getting another ticket on top of the Eurostar or maybe getting my ticket stamped or something before the Brussels to Antwerp separate onward train. He let me off that time..I thought it was included? does anyone know about this?
    cmoi's avatar
It depends on the ticket, there are " Any Belgian Station" tickets and Brussels tickets. The Brussels tickets allow you to use local trains inside Brussels only.

If only I could escape Manchester to get to London for a similar price..

Not exactly cheap, but didn't take me too long to find something similar for one-way. Would be even cheaper with a Railcard (if you could qualify for one)

£200 from Leeds to London return

I guess someone has to pay for the illegal Tory party
    Rmcstar's avatar
    Author
Yes it's overpriced, but in this case nowhere near £200, if you book in advance

Does this include 2x people ? Car & small caravan ?
    rugk's avatar
You can book for two people, but will pay the double price - kinda obviously. Cars or other things cannot be transported via Eurostar (the train), but via the Eurotunnel (needs to be booked differently and is a different company). Eurostar just drives through the Eurotunnel.
However, if you can already have a car there, why would you get out and take the train? (AFAIK you can stay in your car when being in the Eurotunnel, which is transported on railway inside the tunnel too, but well… not Eurostar.)

More about that Eurostar/Eurotunnel confusion can be found online: duckduckgo.com/?t=…nel

Cheap because they're likely to strike!
    QPRcelona's avatar
They have to give 14 days notice of strikes I believe. Our rail company must so guessing it's same across other TOCs (Train Operating Companies).

novice here. am assuming I get a normal train ticket from Luton to St Pancras and then Eurostar train from St Pancras with this offer.

Yh, this deal is from St Pancras to Paris etc. - You have to make your own way to St Pancras
  26. doylie1984's avatar
Wish they'd do that price from Manchester to Paris.
  27. Yaba_Daba_Doo's avatar
Shame it doesn't stop at Ashford, Kent anymore

    ...or Ebbsfleet.

If it's the day you want to go that's on sale. it's a very good price.

I may be going around the end of july. but will probably driving which is cheaper for the days and time i may need to go, unfortunately.

I wish there was a site where people could arrange car sharing to save on crossings.
it seems like a waste that i'll have spare seats, and the costing is for the actual car and not for passengers.

Can't see a single date at £35 from London to Paris, assuming sold out ?

Bought this for my son as he loves trains, so for his birthday I’m going to drop him off and let him go xx. I’ll pick him up in a few days xx

As long as he's got his teddy and Trunki, then bon voyage.

I used to cycle eleven miles from my hometown to the next town (and back) from the age of eight (circa '78).

    Any cheap deals to Amsterdam?
    deleted1945554's avatar
Doesn't appear to be, or Rotterdam, but same price either way.
  32. Alwaysgrababargain's avatar
Not a deal. Can't find any cheap journeys. Last year they had a summer sale with a code for 20% off. Think they'll do it again this year? It was in early June
