Features
- Venus is the ultimate espresso maker combination of tradition and innovation: the original induction-capable coffee machine that prepares an authentic Italian coffee in a unique design form
- Bialetti Venus is made of high-quality 18/6 stainless steel and radiates quality, durability and style
- Preparation: fill the kettle up to the safety valve, fill the filter with ground coffee, close the moka pot and place it on the hob until the Bialetti Venus begins to gurgle
- Care Instructions: Hand wash only. Ensure you keep your silicone gasket clean and replace when wear appears or the pot stops working efficiently. When cleaning, ensure no grinds are within the seal, if they appear, remove the seal, wash in hot water, dry and replace ensuring the seal is flat around the filter
- Cleaning instructions: the Bialetti Venus should only be rinsed with clear water, do not put it in the dishwasher as this will damage the product and the taste of your coffee
- Sustainability: the Bialetti Venus is a 60% sustainable way of making coffee because it produces no waste, is cleaned without detergents and lasts a lifetime

sorted byOne brew gives me two mugs of coffee - I fill the mug about a third full with the brewed coffee, then top up from the kettle.
Probably offends the connoisseurs, but for the second cup I warm up the brewed coffee in the microwave and again top up from the kettle.
It does make lovely strong coffee though, so I wouldn't have more than this amount each day.
Appreciate that others are more tolerant of caffeine and strong coffee, so might want to make more than this.
As for the difference with a big expensive machine - I wouldn't say this is worse or better, they are just different. It also depends a lot on the beans you're using - I have coffee which I honestly think tastes a lot better from the mokka pot, and beans which only my Siemens coffee machine can brew well in my opinion. A lot of coffee making is experimentation to see what *you* like and then enjoying it.
A '6 cup' one makes a decent mug full of strong coffee by the way (edited)
We've since got an espresso machine but I'm still tempted by this, used to love the process of using the Moka pot (edited)
There is no 8 cup either. Perhaps you saw some no brand mokka pots.
This is absolutely on offer. (edited)
Must... Resist... 😜
