Got this a few weeks ago for £60, it's brilliant for this price. Really good image quality from the apps (this has all of them, my TV didn't have Disney+ or NowTV).
I was surprised by the small size and sound from it. Really adds a lot of range and bass that TV speakers lack. Seriously this one device made the living room fit for real movie nights.
Highly recommend to anyone wanting more from their TV. The only thing I could fault it on is no Dolby Vision or Atmos, I think that's reserved for the Pro model.

Bought it on last sale for £55. Really good and smaller than I thought it would be. The only issue I have with it is lack of volume control using my TV's remote.

You not using the speaker of it ? Or complaining that you can't use your TV remote to control it.

    Or something else? (edited)

But that isn't a soundbar, right?

Highly recommend this. For the price and what it does i.e the smarts and the speaker it’s excellent value for money.

I paid circa £80 for mine and still happy with that price based on what it does.

I have two and when it went to £53 I wanted another one but I got sidetracked and it went OOS or price increased. I Paid £79 and then £99.99 for the second one at least it wasn't £129.99

Genuine question, are they really worth that much, or whatever? - as in, in relation to that of what it/they actually do, etc?

    Or ...

    Thanx.

    Sent mine back today.
Personal opinion, I found the OS slow to respond, remote would not work correctly even after several resets of device and sound wasn’t as good as expected.
My fire stick performs better than this, hence the return

It looks like you might have gotten a duff one as neither of mine are slow that is not to say they don't have their moments of slowness or sillyness

Have one of these for the bedroom, very decent and a big improvement on the TV speakers
