Got a very similar deal a year or so ago, surprised this is going cold. Cancel the o2 sim and it’s a great offer.
My only complaint is it’s literally taken 11 months before I got Netflix added on. I must have spoken to CS 10+ times, but they were never able to sort it.
I kinda gave up in the end as it still worked out an insanely good deal for internet, sport & movies. Then out of the blue last week I got my Netflix activation

Assuming that; Gig Fibre is £30 (on avg), Sky Sports is £25 via Now TV (on offer) and Sky Cinema via Now TV is £5 (on offer) that's £60. Netflix Standard is £11. Altogether about £71-75. Oh, I forgot to add Entertainment which is £5 or can be as low as £1 a month too.

This comes out ahead at £63, a lot lower the above situation.

Quick edit; the SIM can be cancelled as said above. This should be heated. (edited)

, don't you find TopCashback to be useless? I've had it on numerous occasions where they haven't given me the cashback - seems too temperamental to me.

Also, what do you get with the £8pm O2 sim?

    P. S. How does Volt work?

I have had no issue with either TCB or Quidco
you get 30GB data for £8pm (deals on HUKD) - and it will be doubled with volt to 60GB

How do you cancel the sim please? Thanks

Call 02 say “I wanna cancel”

What’s the monthly effective if you downgrade the o2 sim.

don’t really want the internet or sim. Could you also lower the internet / sim further as mainly just the sports / tv interested in.

    O2 sim is £25pm
so if you downgrade to for example £10pm deal - you will be paying £15 less so effectively £48pm

Is this for new customers only?

Is it easy to downgrade the sim to a lower tariff?
    Headnogood's avatar
Yes or cancel completely as they are separate contracts

This should be super scorching hot.. Got the same deal from last time. Paying 65 for 1 Gig broadband, all the sports channels, Netflix and 20GB sim (Volt) along with a Series S.. Heattttt!! (edited)

This kinda seems like a decent deal.
The O2 SIM seems fairly flexible so you could save money there and still get good amounts of data.
And if you pay monthly already for Netflix then there is a saving there too.

Kinda suprised this is so cold.

How quickly could/should we change the O2 sim tarif ?
  11. dw3's avatar
If you change the o2 tariff wouldnt that affect cashback?
    Headnogood's avatar
    No didn’t for me
  12. GeekUnique's avatar
Folks were saying they cancelled the o2 sim within the cooling off period without issue. I missed this but might be worth checking the small print?
    Headnogood's avatar
Weirdly although have both together improves the deal they are not connected. i.e. they are separate contracts.

Can’t believe this is going cold. I think it’s a good deal even with virgin media’s customer service.
  14. InfoAddict's avatar
If you don't take the O2 sim this works out to £37.44 GBP per month effective, very good.

This is a good deal if you break down the services and associate cost to each service. Heated (edited)

£150 cashback instead of the Xbox or £200 bill credit, if you’ve got access to employee purchase portal

Did anyone wait a while for o2 Sim? Also do o2 ever send email confirmation?
    dazk111's avatar
The sim should arrive a approx. a week after you sign up. Yes you should get email confirmation also.
