A repeat from previous years but a reminder for all that you can watch this season’s UEFA Champions League matches for free. All you need is a VPN set to Ireland and the Livescore app (simple registration).

I have Windscribe VPN and it has a setting to Allow LAN traffic, so that's what you should look for with your VPN.
I use vpn.lat from google play. Not sure if available for apple.
It does the job. Set it to ireland.
Then open livescore and start watching. I also chromecast it to my tv. Once uve done that u can take the vpn offHi . I've just downloaded vpn.lat after no luck with the recommendations from the post and I couldn't watch anything yet it seems to be working. Thank you
How do you watch the footy via this app? Isn't it just a live scores app with tv listings? Where's option to watch the game?
just make sure your signed in and set to Ireland.
I found I had to reboot the app..- Brilliant. Just fiddled around with the app and it is so easy. Literally just tap and play and the quality is brilliant on my phone. Shame Liverpool aren't in it. Do they show Europa matches too?
Virgin media two Ireland have the Liverpool match on Thursday.
Tv8.5 Turkey have the Rangers match.

How much data would it use up watching one match? I'm guessing it's in the GBs, and will eat through your VPN allowance pretty quickly right?
Also, I believe the CL final is usually free on YouTube. Not relevant yet, but worth mentioning.
You only need the VPN switched on to see the play option. Once it's playing you can turn the VPN off
Awesome!!! If you're on a PC you don't need to download the app. Just register on the website livescore.com/en/ with your VPN set to Ireland & you can watch the games there.
But I can't get the the Virgin media two live channel to work on their website virginmediatelevision.ie/ . I'm using Surfshark set to Ireland. Can anyone else get the Virgin media two channels to play? It will be great for the Liverpool game tomorrow. Re virginmedia, presumably you'd need to be logged in to their site - so an actual customer at a property in Ireland?
It seems all 3 Irish vpn options in Windscribe require the pro package, would have been great otherwise.Another post recommended vpn.lat . I've just downloaded and seems to be working. Obviously I couldn't watch the content yet. Hopefully it'll work for you aswell
The free vpn suggested, windscribe, doesn't do Ireland unless you pay? Bit of a waste of time telling people to download it

AuthorThanks Conkers. Whilst true, I'd long forgot about this app and only remembered this last night when I wanted to watch the Newcastle match. Thought that others may have been in a similar position and worth a post!- There is also games available on rte and Virgin media Ireland.
If you don't want to use a VPN tv 8.5 Turkey is showing Man C match and it is not Geo blocked.

You don't need the VPN to cast you only need it to load the video on the app
Run the VPN set it to Ireland run the video you want then turn of the VPN and then cast to TV no issues- I never had a VPN until 15 minutes ago, but the Award VPN mentioned earlier in the post is working good for me, watching United game.

To connect the Windscribe VPN to ireland you need the paid premium. So cant use that vpn if u wanna do this for free

Thanks for this OP. Managed to get this working on both my Android phone and Android tablet using Award VPN. Tried the FireStick route as well but the app on Aptoide TV only seems suited to a mobile phone which is weird. Any help with this would be welcomed!
