Just be wary of the keys that can’t be replaced as far as I am aware.

I've owned a lot of Logitech keyboards in my time, and this is the best by some distance. Solidly made (reassuringly heavy for its size), immediate and stable connection when you turn it on (and the three-way device switching is very handy), even and heavily customisable (single tone) backlight, comfortable to type on with satisfying key strokes, excellent battery life. One minor criticism is that the on/off switch is tiny and flimsy, I'm not sure it will survive the life of the keyboard, and it would be nice if there was an integrated fingerprint reader. I paid a few £s more than this in 2021 for the version with the palmrest, at this price it's still an easy recommendation.

I've tried 3 of these, looked at them in stores and friends keyboards and every single one I have seen is slightly bent in the middle, they don't sit perfectly flat and the middle feet don't quite touch the surface.
I found it odd that they have 6 feet, they must have been aware if being quite flexible when designing it. I have never seen another keyboard with anything other than 4 feet.

My sample size was 10 or more so can't say they are all like it, it seemed a nice keyboard apart from that but I could not stand the flex and noise it made on my desk. It drove me mad knowing the middle feet weren't touching the surface so I wedged cardboard under the 2 middle feet and it stopped the flex and noise.

If you get a good one then it is quite a nice keyboard.

You're right about it bending slightly in the middle, it's down to it being so flat and made of plastic. Picking up the keyboard from the side causes it I've found. However it can be just as easily remedied by lifting one side and gently pressing on the middle and it's flat again. Once flat, it's totally silent again.

Am I right in thinking the newer model has the 'bolt' receiver rather than the 'unifying' one?

Wanting to pick up an MX master 3s mouse at some point so need to make sure they keyboard has the same receiver!

The MX Keys S Wireless keyboard has the Bolt receiver, so that will be compatible with the MX Master 3s via the Bolt connection.

Amazing keyboard. Well worth the money, pair it with the mx mouse and you have a dream set up

yeah I have that exact setup, and i've just bought them both again because they're so good. I know you can control multiple devices with it, but my wife and I both have an "office" at home, and now we both have the same keyboard/mouse setup.

One thing Logitech did right with this keyboard is absolutely stuff it with batteries, the whole rear stability bar is basically one long sausage string of batteries. Whereas my Corsair wireless has one 18650 battery that constantly has you worrying about how long you have left.

Nice keyboard, but crazy overpriced. The margin on this must be huge, like 500%

Had this for about 18 months now and it's honestly the best I've used. Seamlessly connects between 3 devices. Battery life is fantastic. Cannot complain at all. I use it alongside the MX Master 3. Perfect.

Is it worth the extra for the armrest for it?
Would like a new keyboard for when working at home, as a billing analyst would this help currently have a a cheap 20 keyboard that has only lasted just over a year

I game on this keyboard and it's great, low travel and relatively flat means it's comfy and less distance before actuation, meaning faster reaction with minimal finger movement.

I've never understood the fad of mechanical keyboards for gaming, it's probably the worst tech for the use-case but what do I know?!?

The quick machine switching means I can go from MacBook Pro for work to gaming laptop with ease.

A great buy in my opinion.

Is this the best logitech keyboard?

Nah, they have a mechanical version of this which is better

I've had mine for over a year. Never need to use the backlight or switch it off. I think I've only charged it once which was within the last month or so. Think I paid 90-100ish which I was happy with. I think there's a newer version out now that's looks more like a gaming keyboard

I picked a US version of this keyboard up in a charity shop. boxed brand new for £10. Typing on it now. I think its brilliant. Really well built with aluminum frame and love the fact you can connect to 3 devices so I can switch between work laptop, gaming laptop and Steamdeck on the fly! Take it my backpack to use when in the office days. Battery lasts a log time too. If yoire after a portable keyboard cant go wrong with this one.
