I personally will stay away from any tablets apart of Apple
Simply because this Xiaomi will lost 60% of his value in one year

Unlike iPads, these tablets have a far greater spec/price ratio which means they are much more useful, which also means that the owner is far less likely to sell it a year later if at all.
So loss of value is of no relevance whatsoever to the buyer unless they are a retailer.

At this price I would just get an iPad from Costco

The problem with iPads is that they are an endless money pit which is a bit contradictory to what buyers are trying to achieve on this site.

An awful lot of tablet for the money! 🔥

Unless you really want/need a 14 inch screen, I think there will soon be deals to get a Samsung Tab 9 for the same or less money, which I think would be a far better choice.

I get what you mean, but is the s9 ultra not about £1k tho? And the s9+ about £800?

What's the limitations of the Chinese version as it says it comes with Google Play installed?

And depending on what they are, is it worth waiting to see if a global version comes out?

You will need to install Gboard and chrome beta to replace the default Chinese keyboard and browser. It does not support Chrome!

I bought the Pad 6 Pro and it supports Netflix in HD and all the UK banking and shopping apps that I use.

The only thing I can't get to work is Microsoft Teams but that could be my incompetence. There are also a number of Chinese apps, only some of which can be removed.

I am almost certain that this tablet will not be released with a global version.

How do you customise it to get increased RAM?!?

There's another option further down the page for 12gb ram/512gb memory for $589 and 16gb ram/1tb memory for $819 I think.
    Hope that helps.

A beast of a dictator machine haha. If only it wasn't Chinese companies trying to undercut us with government funding up the ying yang while our corporations in the EU etc. are not meant to use unfair state subsidies. Something tells me I'd not want to pay this kind of money without feeling confident that it can just run anything I want without issue as well. I'm not paying over £500 just to have to mess around everyone time I need a back alley fix to get some software working like netflix or google play store etc.

I have had the P11 gen 1 and just bought the P11 gen 2 about 10 days ago for £199 from Lenovo UK. Only upgraded to the gen 2 as the price was too good to miss. Given my old P11 to my partner. Netflix will play in HD on the gen 2. Also Nova launcher will install on Both generations as I use it on both. Generally the spec is good for the money and gen 2 comes with Android 12 out of the box. I believe Lenovo have promised upgrades to Android 14 but please check independently. I use my tablet for browsing and watching films etc, no games so can't comment. Build quality was better on gen 1. I use my tablet with Ms Office and also use a bluetooth keyboard and mouse. Generally pleased with the performance and comments re font sizes can be addressed in the android settings or Google play store. For the money this tablet is much better value than the Apple Ipad in my opinion. Hope the above helps people make their decison. Lenovo precision pen 2 is the correct pen for this tablet (edited)

Does this has USB-C out for connection to a monitor or Xreal Air? Does it have desktop mode as well. (edited)

Interested, but would need a decent protective case (ideally with shoulder strap) for construction site work. Any ideas where to get one from??
Also, what stylus & keyboard goes with this??
