Pretty good price for one of the many many Helinox rip offs. No plastic and comes with a legs mat for soft ground, which is a nice addition. No collection, so £3.95 delivery - ok if buying a couple.

LIGHTWEIGHT AND COMPACT - This chair from OEX is incredibly lightweight and super compact and makes an excellent addition to your expedition pack. It allows you to take the luxury of the campsite up into the mountains.
STABLE - It is made with an aluminium frame and legs and comes with a unique stability mat that helps to disperse the weight and prevent the legs sinking in soft or muddy ground. The mesh fabric won't absorb water making it easy to dry if it get wet.
VERSATILE - It is not just for expeditions, it is also ideal for general camping, festivals or picnics in the park or at the beach. It packs up compactly and comes with a carry bag making it convenient to transport and store.
DIMENSIONS - Product Size: 51 x 50 x 67cm. Packed Size: 42.5 x 13 x 11cm.
WEIGHT - 1.28kg.

These are decent for both price and quality. If you're more interested in ultralight gear, My Helinox Chair Zero, with bag, weighs 526g.

I will say, though. That mat for the feet is something the Chair Zero needs. The feet on a Chair Zero sink into soft ground very easily. They sell feet balls, but they're nearly £30 and weigh over 200g.

A much cheaper and lighter alternative is just to stick some ping pong balls on the feet.

This was a bit of a tangent, but I mention it as I have experience with both and wanted to share my thoughts on the more costly alternative.

yeah those vibram feet balls are a tad expensive! I want a Helinox for the rocking chair feet though

Good deal. Snapped a very similar looking chair from Trespass for £15.99 with free c&c. Not sure about main differences though

I bought one of those trespass chairs and was shocked how good it is. I no longer bring my big outwell chair camping anymore, I prefer the trespass one. It impressed me so much, I bought 2 more for my daughter and mrs

Took one of these across Europe last year when I cycled from France to Romania. It's juuuust too big to fit in a standard rucksack but super easy to carry around, nice and light and is sturdy. Sadly broke mine this year by sitting on uneven ground/dirt at Silverstone so might pick up a new one as a replacement - hot!

I have a version of this but is fully metal, and that one fits in my rucksack easily. For some reason the ones with plastic connectors (which looks like the case here) are noticeably more bulky.

FWIW Used this at the weekend. Super comfy and very solid. Feet mat very useful and easy to transport.

Is £5 membership required for this price? Shouldn't it be included in title?

I bought this chair a week ago. Paid £34 (£29 for chair and £5 for membership card). Nice compact chair. I use it for cycling trips. Small enough to fit in pannier bag.

There is a certain irony in the copycat branded being the one referred to as the "rip-off"
I don't have any interest in these chairs, it just made me laugh

I've read this a few times and I still don't get what you mean?

Are these any higher than the Helinox Chair One? I have the Helinox Sunset, which I love, but the One is just much too low. Would like something lighter than the Sunset, but higher than the One.

Fwiw, the referenced next-best-price (£30.56) was from Amazon, which was also at an all time low (and from the same retailer, effectively). Seems like some stock clearance on these atm… (edited)

Thanks OP. Gone via quidco - worth a go but no idea if it'll payout with the voucher code...

Quick question for anyone who owns this, do you know what the max weight capacity is? I can't find any info on their website for that. That is one of the most important stats in a chair for me, speaking as a big boy...
