About this deal

Pro's & cons:
Double chamber, drop stitched, solid and stiff with no sag and I'm 16 stone! - really great for beginners at less the £200. It knocks the cheapo Amazon ones into the corner. The paddle is ok - adjustable to fit, but works fine, pump & leash are pretty good, the kayak bits - well more for mucking around on then serious kayaking.
The rucksack it comes in is not that durable, and they were in short supply last time they were on offer last year.
Its not a board for pro's but as a first time paddle board these are probably the best sub £200 offer around.

sorted byWhat cemented it for me was a local watersports company went out hunting and managed to grab a load by visiting all Lidls within 30 miles and they were the mainstay of their hire fleet last year. They were back on the seafront last weekend with the same boards, so to me if a board is ok having been used as commercial hire for a summer it will outlast me :-). Grainy image is from last summer, about 10 seconds before a nosedive for the gazillionth time
edit - in hindsight really should recommend a lifejacket ... (edited)
thinking that sounds rather thin for anything other than summertime use
Looks similar to this one. But maybe Lidl has better quality
Still reckon this is the best sub £200 board on the market.
Bought 2 paddleboards, only went in for coffee
