sorted byHonestly, why do people post 'it was £X [sometime in the past]' comments? How does it help anyone? They can’t go back in time and take advantage of the price, and unless there's an established pattern of price reductions, there's no guarantee its going to be that price (or cheaper) in the future.
The only thing that I have noticed with them is that on occasion, they seem to "stick" so won't turn off or on - the remedy for this being to tap them, either against the surface of something or with something as the relay inside is more than likely stuck. It doesn't happen very often, but out of the 8 I have installed, I'd say half of them have thus far suffered with the issue.
I mean they just anther IP device on the LAN network maybe similar as IFTTT devices on the LAN " just called Matter "
I can see the advantage do not need to use ZigBee hub or Zwave hub
But imagine my LAN 2.4 Ghz network dealing with say 50 Hue Matter bulbs and other devices 2.4 GHz band will be overloading of so many devices + router will work extra harder to maintain these devices
Im not using 2.4 Ghz on router so does not really matter
Anyway just my view
Presumably a device can’t draw more power than stated on its input/output label/box?
And once you know the max load of a device, or its load in a specific usage state, do you need to keep mentoring it?
It's called knowing the market! Obviously if I said it was this price x years ago that's a very different thing isn't it.
I presume you are the type of person who buys the only week when the DFS sale is no longer on as says, well that was then and this is now. Happy getting ripped off. (edited)
Oh and there's never a time when DFS doesn't have a sale on Just like other companies (Domino's etc) they artificially inflate their prices so they can always have deals to promote.
