    Worth bearing in mind that even though it's a "pre-order", based on my experience, orders won't be fulfilled for around 2 weeks post-release.

    Turns out you were 100% correct. Just received the following email:

    "Unfortunately, delivery for Final Fantasy VII Rebirth standard edition and Final Fantasy Rebirth Deluxe Edition are delayed, so we won't receive a delivery of the games until later today. We apologize for the inconvenience.

    We will pack and ship your order as quickly as possible and assure you that we will do everything we can to ensure that the delivery reaches you as quickly as possible. Unfortunately there will be a delay in delivery - estimated delivery time is 6-12 business days."

    And I can't even cancel it and buy it elsewhere because the deluxe edition is now sold out everywhere and going for £150 on ebay.

    "We charge the money for the product when we ship it
    Unfortunately we cannot guarantee delivery on release, since most titles are only received 2-3 days before release and our estimated shipping time is longer"

    There’s 3 parts to this so it’ll happen eventually but not till a few years from now.

    Though the psn preorder does come with a bundle with essentially ff7 integrate for free with it as it’s the same price as the standard version.
