    Doesn't even have 5g ridiculous.

    The claims that no one cares about 5g is nonsense if anything its becoming more important but the main point is how these prices are not good this is what the original retail price would have been before.

    not even 24 months ago 8gb/265gb 5g phones was close to this price point when on offer prices have not increased that much to produce these goods its greed.

    Hi have 5G on my phone but have it set to 4G in the settings to save the battery plus have WiFi most places I go. So there are people not bothered by 5G.

    Thinner and lighter, much thinner bezels, slightly faster charging (33w vs 18 or 22w I forget). Maybe more ram? As other user said AMOLED screen and not a washed out LCD... Overall yeah I think it would be a good upgrade tho there's better options at the moment ( eg edge 40 neo or g84 via perks at work) (edited)

    I have a Redmi Note 12 4GB version and I don't like it at all. It lags and jerks during simple games like solitaire. Temp. freeze when changing apps. Looking to change it since day 1. Would this be any better? I have used 10+ Redmi and never feel so disappointed. I am fine with MIUI BTW.
    Should I buy this? I also have the Redmi Note 12 6GB, which is okay. How is this compared to that?

    I'm not sure this is such a good deal at the moment...4g only on a new release, and only 128gb storage and 6gb ram. Hopefully this will come down in price even more and maybe I'll bite (edited)

    This phone is similar to Samsung A34 5G. For £30 more, I think the A34 is better value for money as it gets 5 years of software update.

    Turn off memory extension under advanced , memory extension bizzarly makes the phone run very sluggish.
