    Whatever happened to these? At one point everyone had one, but you don't see them anymore.

    These were marketed as the ultimate microphone for gamers & streamers way back when it had released in 2009 and people jumped on it. Unfortunately it was anything but that. With mediocre quality and specification, very poor quality control, people who could move microphones moved over to something that actually was used by professionals.

    When Vo!ce released in 2021, it lengthened the lifespan of the Blue Yeti, but ultimately it was too late and the damage had been done, and most people who bought the Blue Yeti for its ease of use (USB functionality) had moved over to Elgato's Wave series instead.

    You don't see a lot of Blue Yeti microphones being used because they're not good microphones. (edited)
