    Afterimage great game
  2. adamtattonreid's avatar
Only Afterimage on my watch list, not keen on the rest. Easy skip for me and grab a key for afterimage from somewhere
  3. goemon's avatar
is this the one where you have to subscribe to it before the games release? or can I just subscribe once the new games are out? thanks in advance for any help!
    Icedream's avatar
You can sub when the new choice bundle comes out. if you sub now its on the previous months games (life is strange, scorn, destroy all humans2 etc..)

I played Nioh 1 but didn't like it at all. Aesthetic was too dark and the story didn't interest me in the slightest. Combat felt clunky too. What pros does Nioh 2 have over the first?
    Seanspeed's avatar
If you think these games are clunky, then this whole 'Souls' genre is likely not for you as Nioh is certainly more fluid feeling than the actual Souls games. Being slower and more deliberate than a normal flashy action game is one of the more defining aspects of these experiences.

As for Nioh 2's improvements, there's more variety of enemies(especially more monster-esque types), the loot is more rewarding/balanced, and the level design is more interesting. There's lots of smaller things and meaningful mechanical changes and all, but these are the more overt things.

That said, overall it's still got many of the same hallmarks as Nioh 1. It's still mission-based, it still has very dark levels, you still have the three stances, it's still gotta plenty of loot, etc.

Oh yea, and Nioh 2 probably has the best New Game+ system of any Souls-like ever, and by far. They really put a lot of effort into it. (edited)

Finally a decent month, for me at least
  6. thelagmonster's avatar
Finally a decent bundle, even if Saint's Row is a wasted slot
  7. Spark's avatar
Another skip month. Humble are saving me a small fortune atm, I don't think I've bought one of these bundles in months.
    Seanspeed's avatar
I save billions of dollars a year on all the houses worldwide I dont buy.

Im assuming Nioh 2 struggles on steam deck?

    (I need 60fps)
    Ted_Biker's avatar
    I am Google.

“If you don't care about battery, this game can run at 60 FPS, though it still does drop at certain moments. 55 FPS mitigated that and allowed a much lower battery life and, honestly, this feels like the best way to play Nioh 2 by far.”

Steam spring sale from the 14th for anyone interested

    Nioh 2 seems good
  11. EugeneVictorTooms's avatar
    Wow.

Nioh 2, Citizen Sleeper, Black Skylands and Afterimage are all on my wishlist. Only recently bought Soulstice too, great bundle for me.

    Snap!

I sub for the surprise each month.
and this month is very surprising.

Warhammer and Nioh are a welcome change.
  13. Srelapse's avatar
It's an objectively strong month but it's not for me.
  14. scottbcw's avatar
The skip is strong with this one
  15. reddeviluk's avatar
Passing once again. I hate the way your frozen Choice membership auto resumes every month.... Then the 5/6 clicks to skip it again.
    jrwagh333's avatar
If you Freeze for a month does it still count as being a member? (eg) If you Freeze for 12 months in a row would you still get the 20% store discount

I always bring cheese to these Humble Monthly posts. It goes well with all the wine (whine)
People saying 8 games for the price of a decent pint is bad, like they are spending £50 is always comedy gold. 😃
  17. Elivercury's avatar
Citizen sleeper is a great little game (if a bit tedious to 1000g), just played it on game pass recently
    Adamo's avatar
Didn't realise it was on Game Pass... have it on my wishlist on Steam though; guess I'll just get Choice for it so I don't have to be subscribed.
  18. HairyFist's avatar
Oh nice. I'll grab a month for Nioh 2. Been looking to grab that for a long time now.
  19. Snakeyes646's avatar
Some good games this month, nice!
  20. edkhn's avatar
Only want Afterimage so I'll skip this one
    dealermac's avatar
Afterimage is worth £21 on it's own
  21. Seanspeed's avatar
This is less than half the price than Nioh 2 has ever been. This is a fantastic deal just for that one game alone.
  22. smartstyle's avatar
Subbed got them cancelled it thanks bud
  23. r200ti's avatar
looks good, looks good, poop - saints row only worth having if its free and comes with a £50 store credit.
  24. alexmurphy01's avatar
That’s pretty good. They are giving that broken mess of a game away with cornflakes but I’ve heard good things about Citizen Sleeper and Nioh 2.
    Elivercury's avatar
    Which game is that? Warhammer?
  25. kos1c's avatar
That's a strong month, I remember playing a little of Nioh 2 and felt right away it didn't feel as good as the first, but I only gave it a very quick go. For £9 I'll give it another go on the deck.
    corey1993's avatar
its much better than the first. give it another go

nioh 2 starts out a lot harder than 1 but it has got a deeper combat and a decent story
  26. corey1993's avatar
would go for it but ive already got nioh and no doubt these other games will be partt of another bundle
    Adamo's avatar
Pretty sure it's first time for all of them so no point waiting for this price.
  27. dealermac's avatar
    Ridiculously good month!

Afterimage, in particular, is an absolute banger!!
  28. robinkurosaki's avatar
    Afterimage is great!

    Feels right at home handheld.
  29. Tellly's avatar
but i haven't played the first Nioh! now need to find a good deal on that

    Great month btw, Heat!
  30. reddragon105's avatar
I was really looking forward to this Warhammer game as I love RTS and have liked Frontier's other games, but then the reviews put me off.

Happy to take it at this price though, along with the rest of the game - already have Nioh on PS and don't want Saints Row, but the others look good.
  31. M3NDEREZ's avatar
Is Saints Row really that bad? Dead Island 2 got slated, yet it's the best game I've played in 2024 so far.. (Haven't picked up FFVII: Rebirth yet!) (edited)
    pb-live's avatar
It initially got slated due to being a ‘reboot’ that didn’t have great writing or the same humour as the originals.  I think since then it’s also criticised for being a bit janky in sound department and some people have had small issues but it does seem to be mostly previous Saints Row fans complaining that it’s not related to those games.  If you ignore the name and think of it as a completely different franchise it’s okay, just nothing original or exciting.

  34. Weehamish's avatar
Nioh2 is amazing but is it the complete edition?

Warhammer game is also pretty new.

There 2 games alone are worth this price and hard to find at discount anywhere
    thelagmonster's avatar
According to the leak page, it is the complete edition, but we'll see later!
  35. Bambino's avatar
Can you sub for a month and keep? Or needs ongoing sub? Taa
    Icedream's avatar
You can subscribe just for one month, and you keep the games.
  36. seven324's avatar
Will likely get the bundle, a few games there that look like they might be pretty good, although they seem to have low review numbers on steam and are mostly mixed reviews.

Realms of Ruin must have done pretty badly if not even 6 months later it's been bundled! (edited)
  37. tonyt3rry's avatar
bit meh for me tbh, heard nioh is good but hits a point it gets too hard. saints row I already own I wish there was a way to sell games.
  38. dreamylittledream's avatar
This still isn’t confirmed I believe but hopefully accurate as Nioh 2 has been on my list for a while but rarely seen it under £20 even on key sites.

Shame there’s two Epic freebie in there but Warhammer also looks interesting so decent month if accurate.
  39. ChristopherDias's avatar
Skip for me. Have citizen sleeper on xbox, saint's row and nioh 2 on ps5.
