The Giffgaff deal seems to be better.
By the way, I don't understand that private sellers are still selling these phones on ebay for much higher prices and without warranty, often with the risk that the phone will be blocked... (edited)

    This deal isn't a private seller. It's registered company. There's a 12 month warranty included. Here's there website: second-handphones.com/

Android phones depreciate their value so quickly

No. The direct equivalent of the S23 Ultra is the iPhone 14 Pro Max (introductory price £1200) which can be found quite commonly for £600 today. Exactly the same level of depreciation, except that with the S23 Ultra you had double the storage, a Wacom-derived stylus with 4000 levels of pressure sensitivity for precise note taking and drawing, and a far superior camera all at the same price point as the Pro Max to start with.

And of course, many of us, myself included, paid less than £700 directly from Samsung for the S23 Ultra last year due to their introductory deals - hence almost no depreciation compared to this price :). Given current prices for previous gen S-series ultra phones, I'll probably lose around £350 if I hang on to the S23 Ultra for another two years - certainly a low level of depreciation over three years. Were't they ending up for about £650 net in new condition after the cashback and flogging the freebie add ons?

    Yes, under £700.
