So advertised as waterproof but don't seem to be. No deal.

I bought them some time ago, not sure if I was unlucky but mine were leaking like a sieve from the first use on wet grass, so didn't even work as backup dog walking ones. On the positive note, I left them in a cupboard for half a year and when found again, left a negative review on Amazon - a few hours later the seller offered full refund without questioning anything. So 1* for boots, but excellent customer service

Look sweaty. But I'm sure they will suffice for dog walking boots, for some.

Good price. Heat added. Review states, these are not water proof. (edited)

Can we change the deal title to remove the word waterproof?

100% would not be hiking in these they are fit for purpose in that regard. Buy them because they're cheap and you need something on your feet for general usage and there's no other cheap alternative general usage footwear (this is plenty).

Will these last longer than the laces ...remember when boots lasted longer than laces

That used to be a funny joke...not so much anymore because it's true.

Better off with a pair of flip flops

I bought a pair when they came up for £12.99. A can of waterproof spray has hopefully done the job.
I have found that the metal eyelet at the top makes short work of destroying the lace

    So...
Waterproof? Nope. They are fine for dry weather. Very comfortable. The "laces" hold up fine for a while, but loosen up in a few hours of walking. The fastening button(?) Is stiff, but you can get the hang of it. The lace end bit (no idea what to call it) could/will easily come off so don't even try to hook your finger into it and pull when you try to fasten the laces.
The sole is ok off road yet can be slippery on wet flat surface.
Overall one of the most comfortable footwear I had in years. Great for dry weather. Not proper hiking boots and definitely not waterproof.

Why does this type of footwear always have to have usage instructions on the outside ?

Live, Love & Laughter written on it , no thanks 😁

Does this code work on other Nortiv8 boots? Or just this pair?

    Not waterproof?

Reviews say definitely not waterproof so beware of false advertising!

These are not hiking boots. If they don't destroy themselves and fall apart then they'll surely destroy your feet

These are as waterproof as a tea bag...I went to return mine...an was actually told to keep them an got a refund....they're in a charity shop...they're that poor

I got some of the trainers after they were posted here. The lace broke so I complained and they ended up costing about £6/8 if I remember right. The lace was easy to fix too. Someone else claimed they got a full refund and were allowed to keep the shoes. They're not waterproof as has been stated but they got me round Europe cycling for 3000km and still really comfortable as walking shoes though I wouldn't go anywhere too challenging in them.

I nearly took the bait, then read the reviews and took them out of my basket! Absolutely useless if not waterproof. So many times I believe the description then fall foul of the false advertising, mess around getting a refund and start the search all over again. Without wanting to spend mega bucks on a pair, the best budget ones I’ve ever found (and still use for Scout hikes) are the Quechua SH100 from Decathlon. Paid around £25 for them and they are brilliant, and super comfortable on long, wet, muddy hikes!
