It is rated as one of the best if you value privacy. The comparison sheet that was linked in the deal can help.

I select the link but it keeps returning with "No connection", which is obviously untrue as here I am commenting about it (edited)

Love Proton. Have their VPN running on my router. Have used quite a few VPNs and this is amongst the best.

Not the cheapest but I avoid the windscribes and super cheap vpns like the plague.

    why avoid windscribe?

The prices in the title are the wrong way around, and the pricing in real money can be reduced.
By adopting USD on the landing page, the figures stay the same (proving a marketing rip off), but with a fee free card would bring cost down further.
    30 months @ £2.77 (£83.82)
    15 months @ £3.10 (£46.58) (edited)

    Title updated with USD prices.

The prices are still showing the equivalent of Euro prices for me. It says "£3.40/£3.06 per month" in the title. I will request the hukd team to see if they can amend

Heat added. No doubt those voting cold think something like Hola is just as good.

Damn. Just got this... Thankfully with student discount but I think this is better. (edited)

    Is this a good VPN?

    Pro's?

    Con's?

    Alternatives?

Try it for free, for as long as you like. You only get three server locations, Japan, USA, or Netherlands.

I use the free one on firestick. Works ok for Kodi.

I'm using their free one until I need a paid one, and I have no issues at all with it. I left NordVPN over cashback issues.

If you are prepared to pay for the environment, then perhaps €7.99 per month on a 24 month paid upfront contract for the Unlimited package would be a better deal.
It should be pointed out that a good reason for deal being voted cold could be that it is based on the monthly price for the single product, which is obviously over priced so as to enable this "deal" to exist. This is nothing more than comparing a price to the RRP of something.

I'm surprised this deal is cold to be honest, as isn't this the cheapest their VPN has ever been?

Anyway I've voted hot and is right, if you buy in USD, then it makes the price even cheaper. you might want to update the price

That price was added by the hduk admin team. I already added the price in USD in the description. (edited)

    Don't bother going through TCB.
Yes, you'll get 5% cash back, but their landing page only offers you a 50% reduction, therefore becoming more expensive.
There is no basket, unlike some other sites, you can't use this deal and put in a basket at 64%, then log in via TCB to complete the order
    Strixx's avatar
Couldn't someone click through via TCB first, and then use the 64% off link to complete the order? That might mean TCB doesn't track, but it's still cheaper overall.

Although if you use TCB or Quidco, your purchase is less anonymous (if that is important to anyone), so people will need to decide whether it's worth using a cashback site or not.

I have amended again back to USD prices. Something or someone is changing them back to GBP.
