I saw this and it reminded me to remind you to cancel the gym membership you never use. You’re welcome.

Does anyone know if you signed up for a 12 month contract they chase you for it when you don't pay them after a few months? Can they actually do anything?

They could take you to court, CCJ (ruins your credit history for years - hope you don’t want any credit cards or mortgages!), and ultimately have bailiffs at your door taking what you own to settle the debt due.

whether they do chase or not, I’m sure Google could tell you, but there are very real consequences to ignoring a contract you’ve entered into.

Ok as a basic gym but my local (Twickenham) was full of school children, year 10-11 sort of age messing around at lunch time. Was surprised they allowed them unsupervised.

Pure gym no under 16s which is stricter than others

Any way of using someone else’s blue light card for myself or has to be personal use?

I think you can just sign up on the link without any blue light code etc

Does anyone know how long this offer lasts for? Or can I do a delayed start date?

It appears they have taken the 6-months offer off for BL. Thanks

It did go off, but appears back on now.

How does this compare to unidays?

Unidays discount is only on a fixed term membership. This is on monthly memberships

Can you sign up multiple people with BLC? Good offer but I usually go with my partner so it would be good if we can both take advantage!

This is pretty much pence cheaper over the course of the year for my gym.

I currently pay £19.99pm and this deal is £18.69pm but with a £10 joining fee.

    Not worth it.

Depends which membership you go for. I cancelled my plus which was £31pm and now paying £21.70 for 6m. Saving £45.80 over the 6m.

If already a member, can you just switch to this deal or do you need to cancel and re-join?

I don’t really want to change my pin and lose my activity history.

We've recently had 2 of these gyms open up near me. 1 in a shopping centre, the other a busy shopping retail park.
Problem is, they both have great big glass windows all along the front where all the running machines and cross trainers are.
Great for 17 year old to show off, less so for middle age, red faced me who wants to work out in obscurity

I had this issue as well. I only use the gym for weights and the functional areas. In terms of the treadmill I gradually built up jogging in the evening in the dark

They had a free 3 day pass I forgot to claim it ended yesterday

    Price is no longer £21.

Showing as £24 now. I am pretty sure that's a standard price, but I will happily be corrected.

Maybe the "plus" is still a good deal?
