At the risk of sounding a bit 'tinfoil hat'y, you realise that the more you devote to AI, the more you are working yourselves out of jobs, yeah?
I mean I get it....there will be some initial careers in it as companies want to get ramped up in that space etc, arguably unstoppable.
But it's to teach machines how to better do a persons job. The companies are not doing this because they think it will lead to a majestic future, they are doing it because a team of two working with AI is cheaper to run than a team of 6 coders/developers/testers.
I'm dying to be proven wrong, but it seems like a load of cows in a stampede to the slaughterhouse.
