Thanks to MSE code MSE37BAR, there are varieties of Barbour prescription specs or sunglasses discounted to £37 from £135 and includes delivery.

Both glasses and sunglasses are featured on the page for you to choose from, or you can use the filters to show you either glasses or sunnies. If you don't want them with a prescription, you can choose 'fashion' lenses during the checkout process.

Do note, though, that you'll pay extra if you need bi-focal or vari-focal lenses, though the discount will still get you cheap Barbour frames.

The code’s valid on one pair of specs per transaction (so if you want more than one you'll need to do separate orders) and ends at 11.59pm on Sunday 31st March 2024.

To get them cheapest, pick 'continue with free lenses' when asked to choose your lens package (stage four of the checkout process), as thinner or scratch-resistant lenses will cost £10-£126 extra. To avoid other extras and keep costs down, click 'skip step & continue' until you reach the checkout.
You can either enter your prescription during the checkout process, or opt to send it later. Some frames aren't suitable for high prescriptions, so keep an eye out when choosing.
If you want sunglasses, select a pair from the page you land on when clicking our link. If you select a normal pair of glasses and want to add tints later, this will come at a cost.
Select 'Royal Mail Standard' delivery – our code will make this delivery option free (normally £6.99).

If you go with the standard lens package, send prescription later, you'll get an email saying you can upgrade the lenses cheap! Accept the email offer and then they'll send you an invoice to pay the extra.

Is that standard to polarised, or just for ultra thin etc?

After I ordered, I recieved an email saying I can pick another pair for £29 delivered

Mine arrived today, prescription sunglasses, completely different style to my order, ordered rectangular frames and recieved circle ones, anyone else have this issue?

Adding a decent lense package brings it up to £100, not worth it.

Thanks OP. Reminds me to get another eye test first, and the pd distance that I always forget what it is?

If you don't know it, just use the average 63. Unless you look like Chris O'Dowd or Anya Taylor-Joy this will be fine.

There are also nice CAT, Calvin Klein, Nike etc. branded glasses around the same price as these Barbour ones.

£37? Does that code work for those too?

Had some of these years ago so may have improved but the workmanship was poor lenses were rough and even chipped on the edge.

ive bought for years, not doubting you, but i just dont recognise what you are saying....
the workmanship is outstanding on mine.
bizarre that you would not return/complain having received a sub standard product....

    Ordered, thanks op!
Anyway, how long does it usually takes for them to process the order? (edited)

The fact that it states 10-20 working days in the picture may give you a clue...

£167 if you need one of the thinner lenses due to your prescription. I got a pair for £98 at glasses direct with their regular 40% off ENTIRE order (not just the frames). Much better if you need higher prescription lenses. Imo.

Nice but £262.00 for my prescription.....

    Binoculars might be cheaper

Thanks, need a spare pair for the car

A car with poor eyesight, is it one of those fancy autonomous self-driving models

    £50 for polarization? LOL

Once you add thinning and polarised lenses gets super expensive compared to other places online. Got my Ray ban thinned ultra thinned down transitions cheaper than this place charges just for thinning down
    Ouzoherb's avatar
What is thinning do you mean a higher index lense

After the order, got this email. May be worth holding out for an offer:

We've noticed that you've selected Single Vision glasses but not opted for the Specky2 lens package which includes an anti-glare coating (prevents glare from oncoming headlights when driving and glare from artificial lights when reading, using a computer, using a mobile phone or tablet etc).

Normally the Specky2 package is £24.99, however, if you'd like to add it today we'd be willing to include it with your order for just £15.99 per frame, plus it includes a scratch resistant coating too.

    If you'd like to go ahead simply email us info@speckyfoureyes.com or text/WhatsApp on 07999 20 20 20.

You will get that offer after every order. Used to be £9.99, but price gouging is rampant in all areas of the economy now.

They blame inflation, even as the rate of the increase in inflation, reduces. (edited)

if you dont mind the wait, goggles4u is what I'd recommend. Everything is just lower in price. Quality is great. Lens options are way more affordable.
    marco806's avatar
ive bought lots from there too....it is cheaper but lens and frames nowhere near the quality.....even when i buy their top lenses package they cloud within days.

the basic lenses from specky, perfect......
    just dont cloud.

i tend to wear my goggles4u ones around the house, back garden etc, got sunglasses from them too, as you say, everything is cheap as chips....When im going out and about, wear the specky ones.. (edited)

I've been trying to find the bottom pair from the image in the deal, but no joy at all! Struggle to reverse image search as well to get a model number.

    Does anyone have a link?
