Dubrovnik/Croatia is so expensive that even a cheap flight can't make it up for it

If you're staying in Dubrovnik and want to be treated as queen Cersei than probably yes, if you go to different areas it's gonna be cheap. Eastern europeans still going there for good money using private rentals and not eating every day in fancy restaurants. Croatia is beautiful rent a car go to different country experience last European region without MC Donald's and Starbuckses

Would rather walk then take Ryan Air

Why? I have flown with them over 100 times and only had an issue (High winds out of their control) once

You should mention the times of the flights

Outbound flight is 8:15AM, means you have a very early wakeup to get to the destination. Return flight at 6:20PM is decent though.

Part of the reason this flight is cheap is because of timings. By skipping the weekend you are paying in annual leave (assuming employment). It costs 4 days in annual leave to take this trip.

There are Thursday to Monday flights from 18th to 22nd April for 40, but the flight times are so ass that I wouldn't bother. Again part of the cheapness is the crappiness of the timings.

For me a 8:15 flight is ideal, gets you into Croatia at 12:20, should get you to your accommodation around check in time (Maybe a bit before but would be able to leave bags) then have the rest of the say to explore.

Would much prefer that to an afternoon or evening flight where you basically waste the full day hanging around waiting to fly.
