    Would we go for the sealed box or 'install Google play' option o.O ? Also not sure how big a biggy is this 'missing band 20' epidemic? I see EE etc use it, but they also use other frequencies? (edited)

    Band 20 is used by all 4 carriers in the UK, however EE and three only really use it in rural areas and is mostly a backup for when signal is poor (band 20 is of a low frequency so can travel further distances and penetrate walls better). The likes of Vodafone and O2 use band 20 as their main frequency so coverage on those two networks could be problematic.

    Edit: many areas will have masts from Vodafone and O2 that have many bands (say inside the M25 you won't really have a problem with coverage at all) however in rural areas band 20 only masts are common.

    Another thing to note is that some mnvo (virtual networks) that operate on EE don't even support band 20 such as Lyca mobile (last time I checked) (edited)
