Remember they got rid of all of their permanent workers for cheaper labour...

    T&C - before anyone asks

If you fail to travel on the outward part of your booking then the whole booking will be cancelled including the return crossing. It is not permitted to purchase restricted / limited duration tickets with the purpose of using only one leg.

Having said that I have used two bokings to comeback on a different day few times in the past (both return from Dover to Calais) without any issues. Last time I did this was Summer 2022.

So I could take P&O to Calais and then book a single ticket with DFDS for a week later back to Dover? £43 per way would be pretty good.

I try not to get too political, but it's only 2 years since P&O did mass Fire&Hire, replacing hundreds of staff with agency workers.

That's true, but Irish ferries did the same, and they run Dover to Calais.
    Poor show really.

Got to collect the wine from the Calais Wine Superstore, not sure its worth the aggro of getting in and out of that place.

Don't give this company any money. Its encouraging poverty wages.

Is the wine place any good? Never been myself but you can normally pick up a voucher at the port (not sure if it’d stack) for a couple of bottles.

We normally get our wine in Carrefour or Auchun

For Ref. your Duty Free allowance is 18 Litres of still wine EACH plus some spirits or Sparkling wine EACH
plus beer. (See HMRC for details)

Would be silly just to bring back the "great wines" in this offer. (Their words not mine).

Pity they could not do that with Ireland, or P&O

Scummy company. Think DFDS seem to treat staff better

Was on P&O for a 3 days trip to Calais last week. I would say DFDS is better.
