That’s only in Wroxall be careful if you venture through it! 🤣 The rest of the island we have the regular amount of toes!
Easy access from Scotland
I live on the Isle of Wight so I'm slightly biased, but this is a lovely family owned hotel in a great, quiet location. Away from the main town, but still just a short walk (10 mins or so) into town or down to the beach.
I've always loved the isle of Wiggit, great for kids
Voted hot but I think this deal or similar runs all year via the hotel’s own website. I stayed in the next door hotel ( Luccombe Manor) in May which is owned by the same company. We are very fussy about hotels and thought it was excellent. Staff, food and pool were lovely. They are not modern hotels but very comfortable and relaxed. Highly recommend

sorry my mistake this is normally the price per night it’s an absolute steal for 2 nights

I tried this years ago and when I came back to do my return leg they wouldn't accept the ticket. Saying for the return to be valid, you must have to also take the correct departure. Cost me £80 at the time to get back, cause I had to buy a ticket for the car, there and then....
I know my friend tried this couple of years ago... Good find ...!

Promotion cannot be applied due to restrictions.

I too have been on website to see "Promotion cannot be....." contacted P+O and they have told me there is"limited space" for this offer so you need to book early ....... as apparently people do (and now fully booked for some dates) ..... though it is only hours since this offer has gone live and they are claiming this ????? for an offer that is valid for the next 4 weeks" NB Do bear in mind that the above message is also posted if you have selected exclusion dates

Don't know is the honest answer but be very careful with the terms and conditions e.g if you don't use one leg of the ticket and with computers nowadays I think this could be identified and they do have you credit/debit card details

I booked only last week to go to Rotterdam on 15th December returning on …I booked only last week to go to Rotterdam on 15th December returning on 16th from Hull. There were no codes or deals on the P and O site or here. Is there any way I can amend the booking to claim the 25% reduction. It's cost me and a friend £94 each.

I Don't think it applys to the weekend Mini cruises they are always dearer, Sorry.
This is the email I've written to p and o

So my wife and I went on our first 'taster' cruise with P&O. We had a load of questions about going on a cruise (from whether we should have an inside or outside cabin to whether the weather would be important).

We thought that a taster cruise would be the best option before spending a lot of money on a 'proper' cruise.

Sadly, the taster cruise that we experienced has meant that we really wouldn't want to go on a proper cruise at all. Although not a terrible time, our expectations were really not met.

The food was adequate but certainly not exceptional (the buffet was more about quantity than quality). The nightly entertainment was ok - but nothing great but the daily entertainment was not well executed at all. I was however, pleasantly surprised that the drinks were not ridiculous prices (actually cheaper than some local hotels).

HOWEVER, there were a number of very unsatisfactory things:
Our dining service was meant to be seated at 8.30pm - the brochure makes it clear that the doors are closed at 8.45pm so you need to be there on time. We got there at 8.15pm and they didn't see us to our table (we were first in queue) until 8.50pm. This happened on two consecutive nights.

The black tie night - again, the brochure makes it clear that you won't be allowed to come in unless you are wearing appropriate clothing. No word of a lie - there was someone in the queue who was wearing a polo shirt and what can best be described as a cardigan jacket. One chap on our table was wearing a suit but didn't have a tie on. Really nice guy, but if you are going to have standards, stick to them...

We went on to the Ventura. To be honest, the cleanliness of our room was just not very good (see toilet photo and dust on suit carrier attached) and the room we were in was very tired (see plug socket and carpets photo).

A few people on board who had been on cruises did tell us that this was nothing like a normal cruise and was almost a booze cruise event - but it really has put us off - I certainly wouldn't want to gamble a few thousand pounds in hoping that our next experience is better.
I booked only last week to go to Rotterdam on 15th December returning on 16th from Hull. There were no codes or deals on the P and O site or here. Is there any way I can amend the booking to claim the 25% reduction. It's cost me and a friend £94 each.

nice price, this is usually two for £70 on the dash offer....if you need hotels try superbreak, 1 night with ferries in Dam/ Bruges form about £89, 2 nights in either for £125 ( 4 nights total )

Be aware though, your up early, 6.30am continental time so if you have a hefty night your well bleary eyed!

Let me know what you like to do (ie nice beach, historic sites, hiking, .....) and if you've got your own transport and I'll give you a few suggestions.
Not much to do or see in the Corinthos / Loutraki area specially at this time of year. In fact its quite dead apart from seeing the canal and ancient Corinthos

Santorini certainly isn't about nightclubs (maybe that was aimed at Mykonos?) - I stayed in Perissa where this is aimed at and while there are bars, the promenade was predominantly restaurants and cafes, with the beach and sun loungers directly opposite. It is also a much cheaper part of the island (some parts are fairly overpriced).

Perissa is a great location to hire a quad from (roads are generally quieter down south, plus a great way to explore the bottom half of the island for around €30 a day), then you just get the bus up to Fira (capital), plus another bus up to Oia (tourist trap / where all the sunset photos come from).

Can highly recommend the Panorama restaurant in the southern part of the island - meal for two overlooking the sunset is more like €40 rather than €100 as you get in Fira and Oia - good destination on the quad bike.

Overall this seems like a stellar deal for the week in Perissa alone. Voted hot.

Any recommendations on which area to stay in Crete? Not looking to hire a car... somewhere peaceful, good sandy beach nearby but also a town/village with some tavernas/restaurants within walking distance. Good bus connections for day trips would be nice too. Don't want any sort of lively nightlife as have kids.

Kalyves is a quiet resort we stayed there in June. Most of the tavernas are on the beaches front so you can eat whilst kids play in sand. Also lovely beaches a couple miles west of chania which have very shallow bays and calm water.

We go to France / Holland 3 times a year via the tunnel or ferry and never had any issues at all. Very nearly cancelled when there was the huge fuel shortage only to get there and not see one station without fuel. We always stop in the centre of calais first lunch (by market square opposite fountains) and again never had any issues. There isn't a huge amount to do in calais but Bruges is a short easy drive and beautiful! Someone also suggested bolougne which is nice and naussica (sea life centre) there is less than 40 mins from calais.

But they're French...

Went yesterday on this deal and the wine is banrock station as in the picture.
If you’re going to Calais to buy booze, don’t book for a Sunday as the big Carrefour is closed then.
The free ferry wine is pretty dire - JP Chenet and the like - give it to someone who’s not fussy and buy some French wine in the supermarket where it’ll be at least £3 a bottle cheaper than in Blighty.

Got two adults two kids for £71 for oct half term bargain. Many thanks

You hire people for the half term?
Ive done this trip a good few times (the terminal is only 5 minutes from my house)........YES there is a duty free shop on the boat and it stocks the usual cigs, tobacco, perfumes ,,,drink etc.....

One tip, take some cans with you as the bar proces have jumped up......buy a legit drink at the bar and then go for a wander outside for a cig....then come back with your glass full, if you get my drift
Transfers from the ferry terminal to Amsterdam cost more than the crossing!

Yup! Been on this boat 20+ times. Everytime has been an absolute hoot!

I almost prefer the time on the boat than I do the 3-4 hours you get in Amsterdam.

EDIT: Don't be put off tho. There's plenty of stuff to keep the kids entertained. Not sure if Vicky The Pirate is still on it but she used to take all the kids around the boat and keep them amused.

We went earlier on this year midweek and it was very pleasant. I think if you go Friday or Saturday it maybe a different, but you also won't get the cheap prices then either. Food is expensive on board, but we thought the drinks prices were just about normal pub prices so not too bad. As I have said in a previous post watch out for the Maritime phone coverage. We were charged £120 for my wife and 2 kids who's phone's accidently latched onto their signal and Facebooked for around 5 mins!

Can anyone tell me how to enter the groupon code. It says invalid ....
I wish to book departure on 2 Nov, how will I know that the date is available for family of 4
If you're going for the Christmas markets, Bruges beats Amsterdam, hands down! I love both cities, and live very close to the DFDS terminal in North Shields, but in prep for Christmas, it would be Bruges for me, and it's cheaper for everything. P&O are usually very reasonable for bringing the car (probably not on this offer) - and DFDS is not.

Hope for a calm crossing - Went on 30th Dec a few years ago to stay in Amsterdam a few days to see in New Year (which was great), but the outward journey was like the Poseidon Adventure - 1/2 an hour after leaving the Tyne, half the people on the ship were spewing their guts up (me included).

Look for the ye olde pub in Bruges that has a beer menu the size of a phone book - around 450 beers on the go.
Thanks
